Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at Bangkok - Chiang Mai

Arrive at Bangkok Airport and take a flight to Chiang Mai.
Then arrive at Chiang Mai and get transferred to the hotel.
Check in to the hotel and spend the time at leisure.
Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.

Day 2 Chiang Mai Sightseeing

In the morning, visit Doi Suthep Temple atop a mountain of the same name.
Return to the city center and take a city tour.
Visit Wat Prah Singh temple compound, Wat Prasat, Wat Phan Tao, and Chedi Luang.
Afterward, jump onto a trishaw to explore Buak Hat Park and hunt out some jewelry bargains on Wua Lai Road.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Elephant Nature Park Tour

In the early morning, you will be picked up by a shuttle bus from the hotel.
Drive through the Thai countryside to Elephant Nature Park.
En route to the Park, you will see a film to learn more about the Elephant Nature Park, followed by a safety talk by your guide.
On arrival at the park, you will meet and feed the elephants before starting your walk with them into the surrounding forests with the herd.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful surroundings.
When you return to the river you bathe the elephants in the river and head back to Elephant Nature Park on a river raft.
Enjoy more time with the herd before a tea/coffee break.
Return to the hotel in Chiang Mai around 06:30 pm.
The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the town.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Depart to Chiang Rai

After breakfast, check out of the hotel.
Depart to Chiang Rai.
Arrive at Chiang Rai and check in to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day Touring Chiang Rai.
At first, visit Wat Rong Khun and later pay a visit to Singha Park.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Chiang Rai

Day 5 Off to Bangkok

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Bangkok.
Arrive in Bangkok and check in to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Bangkok.

Day 6 Sightseeing in Bangkok

After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel reception at 08:00 AM.
Head to Tha Thien Pier to visit Wat Pho.
Then walk to Wat Phra Keo, known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Grand Palace.
Afterward, ride a Thai tuk-tuk to visit Wat Saket and climb the Golden Mountain.
Travel aboard the "Sam Saeb" taxi boat to discover the Jim Thompson house.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Transfer to Phuket

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Phuket.
On arrival in Phuket, transfer to the hotel and check in.
Spend the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuket.

Day 8 Phi Phi Island Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel, and proceed to Phi Phi islands by a big boat/ferry.
After the tour, return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuket.

Day 9 Departure

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for airport.

Good hotels at great locations. Pick and drop from hotels made the whole trip se (Read More)em easy. No need to pay for any attractions so we saved some cash for shopping. I would recommend spending a little extra and get a private vehicle instead of shared one though.

The hotels were a little old but all the hotels, beach and shopping area was wal (Read More)king distance from them so it's ok.

Tour was planned meticulously by Virta (Sales executive and planner). Tour was designed in such manner that all the must see places are covered and transport wa (Read More)s arranged such that time saving was kept in mind and also economical and comfort was looked at. Accommodation was good as all hotels was having all amenities and also placed near the market place so as to give additional comfort to your commute. Overall the holidays were planned in such a way that entertainment, comfort and budget was kept in mind. Also as we all were senior citizens, we were not kept in any uncomfortable position and timely itinerary and transport details were shared by the entire team prior to our travel dates. Would like to refer to all my friends and relatives to book the holidays with Overseas Vacation so as to forget your travel voes as you will be looked after and secure by the overall team. The only approach and behaviour of one of the hotel named FIRST HOUSE in Ko Samui was arrogant and couldn't consider our age.
