Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi to Haridwar (220Kms / 6-7hrs drive one way) Height: 310 MTS.

Meet our driver at Delhi airport/station/hotel/home and drive to Haridwar. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Haridwar. In the evening, visit the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (on your own and by walk). Overnight stay at Haridwar.
Haridwar: The holy city of Haridwar translates to "Gateway to God," and the breathtaking city, replete with temples, is a magnet for religious pilgrims from all over the globe. Religious festivals hold even further draw, and tourists can’t help but be compelled by the city’s aura of intense spirituality. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places of the Hindus, located on the banks of the River Ganges. The sheer number of people gathering around Har-ki-Pairi Ghat gives Haridwar a chaotic but reverent feel.

After taking a bath in Jamunabai’s Kund (natural hot water spring) and having Darshan of "Yamunaji," return to Jankichatti by trek. Later, drive towards Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. At Yamunotri, one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt Kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad." Near the temple, "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila.
Yamunotri Weather: In summer, the maximum temperature is 18°C, and the minimum is 10°C. The days are pleasantly cool, but the nights are cold.

(Written on 02 Jul, 2018)

I am happy to have engaged Travel India 360 for our tour to Mumbai, Shridi and Varanasi. We were provided with comfortable cars and ever friendly drivers too. Its worthwhile to mention that although w (Read More)e had booked only 1 vehicle for 5 persons, prior to the trip for our long road journey Mr Raghav provided 2 vehicles to ensure that we travel comfortably especially since it involved long hours on the road. The drivers were genuinely nice, gave us useful advise and recommendations along the way. Mr Raghav had personally met us in Varanasi and extended his guidance during our stay, took us to all the places we needed to see. He was quick to rectify little hiccups along the way. It was extremely kind of him to provide us with better rooms than what we had booked initially. You don't often come across travel companies that go out of their way to check on you regularly during the tour, and that's precisely the type of service we got from Mr Raghav. He is also pleasant and friendly man. Much appreciated. I would definitely engage Travel India 360 services again. Thank you for everything Raghav. best regards, Renuka, Kuala Lumpur
