Day 1 Arrive in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at Kochi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Munnar.
  • On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & tea plantations.
  • On arrival at Munnar check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.

I am happy to have engaged Travel India 360 for our tour to Mumbai, Shridi and Varanasi. We were provided with comfortable cars and ever friendly drivers too. Its worthwhile to mention that although w (Read More)e had booked only 1 vehicle for 5 persons, prior to the trip for our long road journey Mr Raghav provided 2 vehicles to ensure that we travel comfortably especially since it involved long hours on the road. The drivers were genuinely nice, gave us useful advise and recommendations along the way. Mr Raghav had personally met us in Varanasi and extended his guidance during our stay, took us to all the places we needed to see. He was quick to rectify little hiccups along the way. It was extremely kind of him to provide us with better rooms than what we had booked initially. You don't often come across travel companies that go out of their way to check on you regularly during the tour, and that's precisely the type of service we got from Mr Raghav.
