Day 1 Arrival in Indore - Historical Discoveries

  • Spend some time at the Pipliyapala Regional Park, a sprawling park with gardens, lakes, and a musical fountain
  • Enjoy some local street food at Sarafa Bazaar, a popular food street in Indore
  • Overnight in Indore.
  • After breakfast, transfer to Maheshwar.
  • Visit the Maheshwar Fort, a 16th-century fort on the banks of the Narmada River
  • Explore the Ahilya Bai Holkar Fort and Palace, a magnificent palace built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar
  • Take a boat ride on the Narmada River and enjoy the scenic views of the river and the town
  • Overnight in Maheshwar.
  • Visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India
  • Explore the Vedh Shala Observatory, an ancient observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II

Awesome Malaysia/Singapore trip organised by JourneyCook. Special thanks to Parul Trilogta. We had lots of requests/changes while creating the itinerary, Parul was very patient in listening and worki (Read More)ng on each one of them. We were initially skeptical of making on-line payments to a travel agent we had never seen or heard before. However JourneyCook was thoroughly professional and each payment was acknowledged promptly. Visa processing, hotel transfers, entry tickets to various attractions were arranged in a smooth manner. Will definitely recommend JourneyCook!!!
