Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar - Visit Floating Vegetable Market
  • Tour starts with your arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfers you to Srinagar Houseboat (Srinagar is also known as “PARADISE ON EARTH”).
  • After having rested in the houseboat for an hour, you can go to see the floating vegetable market in Dal Lake, known for its beautiful Kashmir Handicrafts, which are unique in the World.
  • Overnight stay in Srinagar Houseboat.
  • After Breakfast, take a full-day Excursion tour to Sonamarg, which means ‘Meadow of Gold.' The backdrop is snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.
  • According to the legend, somewhere in the valley is a well whose water turns any substance into gold. This is something that means “Meadow of Gold’’.
  • Sonamarg lies in the Sindh valley stream, which has flowers and is surrounded by mountains.
  • Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan lakes.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Sonamarg
  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Gulmarg.
  • Gulmarg -At an incredible altitude of 2730 meters above sea level, the hill resort has a gently sloping topography.
  • Gulmarg is 57 km southwest of the capital city of Srinagar. The gorgeous hill resort of Gulmarg is dotted with sites of interest for tourists. Khilanmarg is the spot for skiing in winter.
  • You must enjoy the views of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range from Khilanmarg.

The trip commencing from Delhi on 20.9.2019 to Vienna. From there to Budapest, Bratislava, Prague, Lauf, Wurzburg, Frankfurt and back to Delhi on 27.9.2019 was excellent as regards direct flight, pick (Read More)up, hotels, food, transport, guides, sightseeing, free time and expenses. Travelopack since inception, visa, ticketing, payments, cooperation, coordination and enquiries of well being while abroad was very very good in all respects. Gunjan and Hitesh were too good. Look forward to further trips and recommend others to avail their services.
