Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar

Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
Time for shopping.
Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady

In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
On arrival, check in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 4 Thekkady to Alleppey

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
Around 1200 hrs check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.
Relax at the deluxe houseboat.
Cruise along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day.
Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 5 Alleppey to Kovalam

After breakfast, check out from the hotel/houseboat and transfer to Kovalam.
Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort and a dreamland for tourists worldwide.
On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Relax at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 6 Relax at the Beaches. Trip to Thiruvananthapuram

After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.
Visit the Secretariat, Museum, Mini Zoo, and the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple (optional).
After lunch, head back to Kovalam.
In the evening, visit the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam, i.e. Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach & Lighthouse Beach.
Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7 Kovalam to Poovar

After breakfast, proceed to Poovar.
On arrival in Poovar, check in at the hotel.
After freshening up, visit Tirparappu Falls, and the Rock Cut cave of Vinzjhinjam.
Go for a boat ride in the afternoon.
Later in the evening, take a water taxi to visit Poovar beach and watch a beautiful sunset.
Return back to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Poovar.

Day 8 Poovar to Kanyakumari

After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari.
On arrival in Kanyakumari, check in at the hotel.
Later, proceed sightseeing.
Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Bharat Mata Temple, Kanyakumari Beach, and Sunset View Point.
Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 9 Departure

After breakfast, proceed to the airport/railway station to board a flight/train for the onward journey.

Breakfast will be served in all the hotels.
Accommodation on a twin-sharing basis with base category rooms in all the hotels (rooms are subject to availability).
AC Sedan for all transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary.
Toll, parking, driver’s batta, road tax & fuel charges.
Drop at Cochin Airport/railway station.
Pick-up from Trivandrum Airport/railway station.

Easy going trip and covered all sightseeing places

Can book better accommodation at better location, so that travellers can explore (Read More) themselves and need not to only rely on driver at office timings. Also, for North Indians you can book accommodation who have north indian food taste.
