Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Gangtok, Leisure Day
- Pickup from NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport by our representative and transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival check-in to hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
- After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir which is 55 kms from Gangtok city.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3 Transfer to Lachung, Seven Sister Waterfall and Naga Waterfall
- After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and drive to Lachung.
- En Route, visit Singhik View Point, Seven Sister Waterfall, and Naga Waterfall.
- Arrival at Lachung by evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 4 Excursion to Yumthang Valley: Hot Spring
- After breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley (or Valley of Flowers).
- On the way back, visit Hot Spring, which is considered to have medicinal properties.
- Head back to the resort.
- Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 5 Transfer to Gangtok, En Route Bheema and Twin Waterfalls
- After breakfast, departure for Gangtok.
- Enroute stop at the wonderful Bheema and Twin Waterfalls.
- On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 6 Explore Gangtok and Transfer to Pelling
- After breakfast, start for a half day trip to Gangtok city.
- Visit Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry, Handicraft Centre, Flower Show, Dro-drul Chorten and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
- In the afternoon, head to Pelling.
- On arrival, check-in to your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 7 Explore Pelling: Khecheopalri Lake and Rimbi Waterfalls
- After breakfast, prepare for a full day sightseeing of Pelling.
- Visit Darap village, Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi Waterfalls and Khecheopalri Lake.
- In the afternoon, head to Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and New Helipad Ground.
- Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 8 Transfer to Darjeeling, Leisure Day
- After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling.
- On arrival, check-in to the hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 9 Explore Darjeeling: Early Morning Drive to Tiger Hill
- Early morning (at 4.00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
- On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
- After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery, and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 10 Depart from Darjeeling, Tour Ends
- After breakfast, check-out from the hotel on time.
- Drop to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
