Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Launceston
  • Arrive in Launceston post afternoon and check-in to your hotel. 
  • The day is at laisure
  • Early morning meet the representative and the group at the meeting point
  • Head towards Stanley. 
  • VIsit Narawntapu National Park and get a chance to see Kangaroos, different bird species and other wildlife.
  • Lunch at a cidery where you can also sample some of their brews.
  • Next take a brief stop at the town of Penguin.
  • Climb the famous "The Nut" , an ancient volcano that offers beautiful views from the top.
  • Continue to the accommdation that has been booked in the north-west side of Tasmania.
  • After breakfast explore the sites like Trowutta Arch and the Lake Chisholm sinkhole.
  • Explore Marrawah - one of the famous places for big waves surfing, Edge of the World- the longest stretch of ocean on Earth and Mount Cameron West- one of the important Aboriginal art sites. 
  • All the sites would be explored by shorts walks and have a picnic lunch in between the tour.
  • Later return your accomadation.
  • Leave for Rocky Cape National Park where you will discover twisted rocks, sea caves, rock pools, and haethlands.
  • Continue to visit the Boat Harbour Beach and historical lighthouse at Table Cape.
  • Stop for lunch.
  • Then walk to visit the beautiful  Philosopher Falls.
  • Head towards your accomdation in Corinna. Enjoy Dinner. 
  • Note: There is no cell reception in this area.
  • Today explore Pieman River and Tarkine rainforest by hiking and Kayaking in the Corinna area.
  • Have lunch in Corinna
  • Head to North West Coast.
  • Indulge in whiskey tasing and sampling some beers at disterlley and brewery respectively. 
  • Head to Devonport where you have a booked accommodation.
  • Visit the town of Sheffield known as the town of murals.
    Further continue for a walking tour of Dove lake and Cradle mountain.
    Walk along the Dove lake Circuit which takes about 2 hours.
    Then take a more active walk to Marion’s Lookout which offers 360 degree views from the top.
    Later head back to Launceston
  • On your way to Launceston stop for some shopping and tasting including some local cheese, rasberries and ice cream.
  • Overnight at Launceston
  • After early breafast, drive towards Hobart.
  • On reaching hike to the summit of kunyanyi (Mount Wellington). 
  • Later stop for luch at the Hobart waterfronts.
  • Catch a ferry in the afternonn for Museum of Old and New Art.
  • Return back by ferry and head to hotel for check-in.
  • Evening at leisure.
  • Visit one of th colonial village of Australia, Richmond located at the wine region of the Coal Valley.
  • Explore the Tasman National Park which includes Tasman Arch and Devil's Kitchen.
  • Later visit Australia's best preserved convict site - Port Aurthur Historic Site. A guide will tell you stories about this settlement and the spine chilling stories of the prisoners.
  • Head back to Hobart for the night.
  • After breakfast, depart for Huon Valley and Fraklin
  • In Fraklin you will visit the wooden boat center to learn about the process of building boats.
  • Stop for a while at Geeveston town to explore the wilderness of this town.
  • Last stop is at Huon Valley to visit apple orchards with sampling of few ciders and learning about the history of local apple farming. 
  • Head back to Hobart and enjoy dinner at one of the pubs.
  • Overnight at Hobart
  • Drive to the ferry departure point to board a ferry that leaves for Burny Island.
  • Explore the island with beautifull cliff tops and preserved natural environment.
  • Sample some delicious local cheese at the Bruny Island Cheese Factory.
  • Visit the honey industry for a unique experience of tasting and understanding the process of the leatherwood honey making.
  • Explore the South Burny National Park where you can overlook at the stunning views of the Antratic sea and mainland mountains of Tasmania.
  • Later visit the adventure bay to relax or swim at the beach with crystal clear waters.
  • Visit the oyster farm to understand the farming of the oysters and get a chance to taste one of the local delicious product.
  • In the evening take a ferry back to Hobart. Overnight stay at Hobart.
  • The tour concludes. Head back to the airport to catch a flight.
