Day 1 Arrival to Istanbul & Transfer to Hotel
  • Arrival in Istanbul.
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Istanbul.
  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer from your hotel at 09:00 AM for a full day city tour.
  • Visit Topkapi Palace: The former imperial residence from where the Great Ottoman Empire was ruled, St.Sophia: The magnificent Byzantine Church of all times; one of the finest and largest architectural works of art in the world.
  • Then visit the Blue Mosque: One of the biggest mosques in Istanbul from 17th-century architecture. Also famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets, Hippodrome: The former centre of sportive and political activities of Constantinople. You will be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, the Serpentine Column from Delphi and the fountain of Willhelm II.
  • Later, visit the Grand Bazaar: In addition to its historical importance, it’s a bazaar that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs.
  • After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Istanbul
  • Breakfast at the hotel and free morning until 1:00 PM.
  • Transfer from the hotel to the boat and embankment.
  • We will have an open buffet lunch on the boat on this unique tour program.
  • See Rumeli Fortress (from the sea) and arrive at the Black Sea and get the best shot where Bosphorus meets Black Sea
  • Stopover at a beautiful village of Anadolu Kavagi at the Bosphorus on the Asiand Side of Istanbul.
  • Return to hotel around 5:00 PM
  • Overnight in Istanbul.
  • Early transfer to airport and flight to Cappadocia.
  • Arrival and transfer and starting the tour
  • Visit the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible.
  • Visit Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts.
  • Overnight in Cappadocia
  • Depart from your hotel to visit Red valley, explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 5 km through the Güllüdere valley.
  • Then, visit Çavuşin village. This village is famous for the houses and churches of Christian clergymen.
  • Drive to the Pigeon Valley.
  • In the afternoon, visit Kaymaklı Underground city where early Christians lived in fear and faith.
  • NOTE: You can take the Hot Air Balloon Ride between 04:30 PM - 07:30 AM. (190 $ extra per person)
  • In the evening watch a Whirling Dervish Show.
  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport.

We looked through 5 agencies before settling on D organizers for our Turkey trip (Read More). Initially we were sceptical due to the reviews, but we were glad to have booked with them. The trip was well organised with 2 days in each city of which one day was a full day guided tour and the second day was given free for self exploration . This allowed choice for my parents to rest on the second day since they were approaching their 60s . I would especially like to thank Bhargav who maintained good contact and communication with us throughout the whole trip from the beginning to the end from the visa process till we reached back home after the trip. I also feel that their rates are economical and budget friendly compared to the other agencies we first spoke to.
One of our transport vehicles from the airport to hotel during the trip in Ist (Read More)anbul was filled with the smell of cigarettes . One of the vehicles had an airconditioner problem in pamukkale though the driver was a sweet person.
