Day 1 Srinagar - Srinagar
Our representative will pick you up from Srinagar Airport and drive you to the hotel. Check-in, have dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
This morning, after breakfast, get ready for local sightseeing in Srinagar. Explore the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, Shankaracharya Temple, Chashma Shahi, Tulip Garden, Pari Mahal, and Dal Lake (Shikara ride charges are extra; 1-hour ride). Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to the picturesque mountain resort of Sonamarg. Enjoy a scenic countryside journey, passing rolling hills, green forests, clear streams, and blooming rice fields. En route, visit Kangan and Mammar, known for their trout farm. Stop at Gagangir, which looks like an island in the Sindh River surrounded by snow-capped glaciers. In Sonamarg, take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajiwas Glacier (extra cost). Return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel this morning and proceed to Gulmarg, a beautiful meadow of flowers located 56 kilometers away (a 2-hour drive). Enjoy the world's highest cable car ride, the Gondola Ride (extra charge), which has two phases, taking you up to 14,000 feet above sea level. You can also experience a pony or a sled ride on snow (extra cost, based on snow availability). Return to Srinagar and check in at the houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave for the ABC Valley (Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwari). Hire a Union cab from the taxi stand to visit these three tourist spots (3-hour tour). Optionally, take horses to Mini Baisaran, or Mini Switzerland (extra cost, not included). After sightseeing, return to the hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, taking back beautiful memories.

I was quite concerned about my kids 1 year and 4 year old but travgen made it ea (Read More)sy for us. The people in travgen, no matter it was Ms Samreen who planned our itenaries from Day 1 to Day 5 or our cab driver Tawseef bhai who took our to different places, all were quite helpful. Travgen is srinagar based so that's one of prominent benefit, so if they know each and every places in detail, when to go and what to avoid n all. Also there were no last minute surprises till Day 5 unlike other platforms. So if you are concerned and planning for a kashmir trip the Travgen is the best option.
