Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kilimanjaro – Leisure Day

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our Mrembo Safari guide will be waiting for you.
Transfer to Weru Weru River Lodge for relaxation after your air transfer.
Rest at the lodge and await the briefing about your Kilimanjaro climb scheduled for the next day.
Dinner will be provided at the lodge.

Day 2 Rest, Briefing, & Overnight Stay in Moshi

Enjoy a day of rest at Weru Weru River Lodge.
Prepare for your climb as you meet with your guide who will provide essential details, including what to wear and pack for the journey.
Relax at the lodge and anticipate the exciting adventure ahead. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 3 Transfer to Lemosho Gate and Trek to Big Tree Camp

Depart from Kilimanjaro and head to Londorosi Gate for registration.
Transfer to Lemosho starting point to commence your trek, which takes approximately 6-7 hours.
Trek through the beautiful landscape from Lemosho Gate (2100m) to Big Tree Camp (2800m).
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner along the trail.
Overnight stay at Big Tree Camp.

Day 4 Trek to Shira 1 Camp

Embark on a 4–5-hour trek from Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp.
Traverse eastwards across the Shira Plateau, soaking in spectacular views of Shira Cathedral.
Enjoy breakfast before the trek and a packed lunch along the way.
Arrive at Shira 1 Camp for dinner, where you'll spend the night at 3600m elevation.

Day 5 Trek to Shira 2 Camp

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at Shira 1 Camp, getting ready for an exciting trek.

Day 6 Trek from Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

Day 7 Trek from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Keep trekking until you reach Karanga Camp, with its stunning views of icefalls.

Day 8 Trek from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

After breakfast at Karanga Camp, prepare for another day of trekking.
Traverse the rugged terrain, covering a distance of approximately 4-5 kilometers over 4-5 hours.
Take a break for a picnic lunch along the way to recharge your energy.
Continue the ascent until you reach Barafu Camp, trekking for about 3-4 hours.
Barafu Camp offers stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, serving as a reminder of your progress.

Day 9 Summit Day & Descent to Millenium Camp

Start early from Barafu Camp with a light breakfast, aiming to reach the summit before sunrise.
Trek about 5 kilometers, guided by experts, lasting around 6-8 hours.
Take a break at Stella Point for a stunning sunrise view.
Push for another 1-2 hours to reach Uhuru Peak, Africa's highest point, for a celebratory moment.
Descend back to Barafu Camp for lunch, covering roughly 8-10 kilometers over 5-7 hours.
Finally, trek to Millenium Camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 10 Descend to Mweka Gate and Return to Weruweru for Relaxation

Start your day with breakfast at Millenium Camp before beginning the descent to Mweka Gate, a journey lasting approximately 4-6 hours.
Enjoy packed lunches provided during the trek.
Upon arrival at Mweka Gate, receive your summit certificates and conclude your Kilimanjaro adventure.
Transfer back to Weruweru for relaxation at your lodge, where dinner will be served.

Day 11 Transfer to Mkomazi National Park - Wildlife Exploration & Guided Walk
