Day 1 Arrival in Thimphu

Arrive in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, and check into your hotel.
Visit Tashichho Dzong, a stunning fortress-monastery and the seat of the government.
Explore the Memorial Chorten, built in memory of the third king of Bhutan.
Take a leisurely stroll around the local markets in the evening.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2 Thimphu Exploration

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the National Library to explore ancient manuscripts and texts.
Explore the traditional arts and crafts at the Institute for Zorig Chusum (Art School).
Visit the Buddha Dordenma, a massive statue of Buddha overlooking Thimphu valley.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Drive to Punakha

Drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan.
En route, stop at Dochula Pass to admire panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful and significant fortresses in Bhutan.
Explore Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of the Divine Madman.

Day 4 Journey to Trongsa

Drive to Trongsa, a historic town located in central Bhutan.
Visit Trongsa Dzong, the largest dzong in Bhutan and an architectural marvel.
Explore the Ta Dzong, a watchtower that now houses the Museum of Bhutanese Royalty.
Overnight stay in Trongsa.

Day 5 Trongsa to Jakar (Bumthang Valley)

Drive to Jakar, also known as Bumthang Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in Bhutan.
En route, stop at Yathra Weaving Centre to witness traditional Bhutanese weaving.
Explore Jakar town and visit Jakar Dzong.
Overnight stay in Jakar.

Day 6 Explore Jakar and Surroundings

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Jambay Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
Explore Kurjey Lhakhang, where the body imprint of Guru Rinpoche is preserved.
Visit Tamshing Lhakhang, known for its ancient religious paintings.
Overnight stay in Jakar.

Day 7 Drive to Phobjikha Valley

Drive to Phobjikha Valley, a glacial valley and a protected area for the black-necked cranes.
Visit Gangtey Monastery, an important monastery in Bhutan.
Explore the scenic beauty of Phobjikha Valley and enjoy nature walks.
Overnight stay in Phobjikha.

Day 8 Phobjikha to Paro

Drive to Paro, one of the most scenic valleys in Bhutan.
Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro valley.
Explore the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in the Ta Dzong.
Take a leisurely walk around Paro town in the evening.

Day 9 Paro Exploration

Hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), Bhutan's most iconic landmark.
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan.
Explore the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, a historic fortress.

Day 10 Departure from Paro

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
