Superb

Incredible building and fantastic staff. We slept like babies. I couldnt recommend it more

The YMCA is a beautiful building the photos dont do it justice. If you like period buildings and want to feel like youve stepped back in time this is the place for you. The staff are very welcoming, the location is fantastic for exploring central Shimla everything is in walking distance. We slept very well as it is quiet away from the roads. Highly recommend.

The room could have been a bit cleaner.

Disappointing

I think I was the only guest then . I saw no one during my entire stay in my floor. Kind of haunted feeling too. the entire property need some renovations and the doors are so loose and it makes some noise during night. But they staffs there are so friendly and helpful

The hotel is very old with very few amenities in place. No hotel like feel, it will remind you of British era as the building was made in British era only.

Never stay in YMCA

The toilets were clean

There was something not right about the staff and the other person who was there in the dormitory. There were no lockers where you can keep your stuff safe. I suspect they misuse the ID which we give to stay. Would not suggest this to anyone...
