We didn't stay here. The day before our arrival we received an email with a small print multi-page attachment of rules that we must abide by. Part of the rules involved the fact that we would be converting a day bed in their "guest" room into a double bed once we arrived. Then, we were notified that we would be sharing the bathroom & kitchen with the owners. Then we were told that we could use the family room if the door was open. If it was closed, the owners were working and not to be bothered. They attached a video of where to find the lockbox for the key and then proceeded to show the walk to the red door and up concrete stairs to an upper level apartment. It looked so unappealing. The picture of the guest room with diagram on how to turn the day bed into a double bed also was not appealing to us. It didn't look comfortable.
So, we feel that the owners book the room and then send the above to the person who booked the room so that we (and others) will choose not to stay there. They send it at the last minute ... not when it is booked months prior. Since there is no refund then the owners get the money for the room and don't have the inconvenience of having guests.
