I enjoy stay here !

Unique hostel has a really warm ambient, being so respectful and they have a true interest costumer services. They are so helpfully, kind, and always bring you the best services you need. The place is clean, spacious and private. In the first floor you can find food very cheap. Im from Mxico and Im so happy to meet Unique Hostel ! Thank you Unique hostel for your services

Superb

overall very good stay. Same person owns Yan Yan guest house as well and he is very supportive.

Room is more fresh as there's window beside bed which opens outside..staff is friendly they regularly clean the rooms and change towels.

bathroom/toilet exhaust is upside on the roof. if it was outside it wud have been more fresh. Though not a big issue as the exhaust is working properly. guests can bring their own air freshener.

Disappointing

I would recommend paying a bit more for better sanitary conditions

The staff was very sweet and helpful. She waited for me to check in because I arrived later than expected and helped me carry my suitcase. The towels and trash are changed every day and the bed is pretty confortable.

I understand that with such a cheap price in HK, I cannot expect anything much. But the room was not the one I initially booked, the whole building is filled with hostels so they are basically just switching rooms when one hostel is fully booked. The area in itself doesn't feel very safe for a female solo traveler, you need to go through an indoor market to reach the building and some might not feel very safe (although I had absolutely no problem during my stay and the stall owners were quite nice to me) The problem is the building in itself, it is very run down, filled with cockraches and rats which is very shocking to see. The sanitary conditions are very borderline. The room in itself is not very clean, there are some bugs in the bathroom and the fridge was really disgusting.

The personnel was really nice MJ is super frendly and helpful.

I don't recommend this accommodation for women or solo travelers. It's not a hostel, it is just a few rooms for rent. It's inside a gallery that looks scary, but at least it's safe, the problem is there are so many man's that harrase girls (they will talk insistently to you at the elevator even though you don't want to speak with them). The personnel do their best to keep clean, but the building is full of bugs.

Superb

Wonderful Weekend in Kowloon

Great location! Quite close to a subway stop, some main attractions, museums and bars! Staff was super friendly and accommodating, even when arriving late at night (be sure to text the property in advance). The ground floor has some of the essentials you'll need for your stay in Hong Kong such as sim cards, money exchange etc.

Like most places in Hong Kong, space is an issue. The weather will also play a role your comfort levels, switch on the air conditioning and wear a few layers before bedtime. The building is a bit of a maze, but it's easy to get around after a while.
