    The staff at Like tree cafe were accomodating and helpful
    Poor communication....baggage delivery and collection took 45mins (with my husband having to carry bags down stairs so we could leave) Spa facilities (complementary) were not working or available Room: old and run down. There were gaps in the door to balcony which saw mosquito enter our room, the bathroom was falling apart (bath chipped; wood was rotten etc) Overall I would not recommend anyone to spend the level of cash they charge on this place...

    Only the fabulously polite staff and the reasonably good multi cuisine restaurant was saving grace . Special mention Nik
    Amazing ambience and stupendous Lake Vembanad view from the hotel
    What they sell as cottage with lagoon view is a cramped room not enough to qualify for a family ! Wasted space with bathroom size of a proper room and an external shower area outside that no one uses . Even a family with two adults and two children cant fit in well . The miniature 28inch TV from 2010 era is shabby LCD and at 20000 rupee a night you feel really let down . The house houseboat doesnt work and everything is contracted out

    Great place, great staff and extremely rejuvenating.
    It was disappointing that the pool was under renovation but the staff went to great lengths to facilitate alternative swimming options.

    Great service let down by the sub standard amenities. Not sure they qualify as 5 star
    The staff in particular the restaurant staff and buffet food were outstanding . I cannot fault the service. The surrounding areas were beautiful , especially the lotus ponds . The buggy service was amazing too
    1) swimming pool was under maintenance. The substitute pool had broken tiles . My sister in law had cuts on her leg 2) front office for check in and check out is a mess 3) overpriced indoor boutique with sub standard items and a staff who is reluctant to show anything

    The staff were very welcoming. We all loved their hospitality, professionalism and courteous nature. The breakfast buffet, and dinner buffet were amazing. Upon coming to know that we were celebrating my mother's birthday, they graciously offered a cake which we accepted. The dal makhni and mutton railway in the dinner buffet were top class.
    The pool needs renovation. A five star property pool should be way better.

    Overall a great place.
    The staff were excellent, food was exceptional and the room was good.
    The refrigerator in the room never worked during our stay, this resulted in us having to keep our insulin injections in the kitchen refrigerator. Please do get the refrigerator replaced. The dining area staff did help us with our insulin injection.
