    Lovely place for relaxing and great food with or without kids.
    Food was exceptional - not only the Indian cuisine but the international dishes too. Staff were very friendly and great with our young kids. Everything was very clean including the pool. Gorgeous views. Had spa treatment too which was very relaxing. Kids playground was great for our kids ages (5, 8) as it wasn't too babyish.
    Nothing much to complain about. The wifi was slow but it was also a blessing as I wanted to disconnect.

    - lovely view of backwaters - free on site activities such as badminton, archery, bicycling, swimming pool - free tea time from 4.30pm-5.30pm serving chai and some snacks like banana fritters - location was clean, nice and quiet - lakeroom view was spacious and very comfortable - spa facilities available even though we did not use it. - ability to pay for room using international card
    - Was made to wait 45 minutes to check in even though we arrived at 4pm, way later than official check in time. - lady at check in counter was abrupt when I asked if there were other food places in the surrounding area. Her immediate response was that outside food was not allowed into the premises. - we were given the room upstairs and only one door separated us from the next room. Walls were not very insulated. I could hear my neighbors phone alarm. - food was pricey and location was such that you are made to eat at the in house restaurant

    The staff was friendly and helpful as well as responsive to concerns
    We were charged an extra 3000 per person owing to a Christmas gala dinner, which was never informed by either Booking.com or the resort. It was indicated to us that it was mandatory for every guest to pay up the said amount. We had been informed about these charges only when we were checking into the hotel. Things like these, if not informed become very inconvenient for the guests. To add to our woes, the quality of the food was quite mediocre. The room, strangely enough, had just a single towel and barely any coffee creamers/sugar or anything in the minibar. The quality of the rooms was quite underwhelming considering the resort could have done much better for the proper upkeep of the conditions of the rooms. The boat ride ( which we paid extra for ) was not worth it considering the lake is already very polluted, and there was nothing which stood out.

    Great Location by the lake, welcoming staff, delicious food, great vacation!
    It is a nice property. All staff was welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed cycling, games, and the private pool. The room was spacious and clean. The food was amazing both dinner and breakfast were delicious with a wide spread of items!
    The chlorine level in the pools (private and common) pool can be less.

    Wonderful experience! The property is gorgeous and tranquil. It is far from the town of Alleppey, which meant we had to travel by tuk tuk to get anywhere (like to a kayaking trip), but the position allowe for it to be peaceful, have a remote feeling, and not be full of mosquitoes! The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet, which was also very affordable. The service was also incredible. The staff was very kind and attentive. Most of all, we loved the amenities, like the pool, badminton court, and gym. We are a couple and enjoyed it very much, but saw lots of families enjoying their experiences too. Highly recommend! Thank you!
