The Stevenson is a great option all-around-price, staff , cleanliness and location.
Location, location, location. I flew into Monterey very early and went directly to the hotel. I asked the man at the reception desk if it was possible to get an early check in. He contacted housekeeper and within 30minutes I had a room. In the meantime he had offered coffee from their lobby stock which tasted delicious . They have a water cooler in the lobby as well.
I couldnt open the room safe one night which seemed strange. Luckily, I could wait until the next day and the repair person fixed the issue by replacing the battery.

Great stay, fully recommend to fellow travelers.
Well decorated, clean and tidy, great location to dinners and the big red bus tour. The room was quiet and comfortable
Sadly the location was both good and lets it down, but the hotel overall was great. Often the drinks machines werent working so I found myself walking up and down floors to find one that did.

Nice comfortable room, great for a 1 night stopover. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly.
Convenient location with free parking, comfortable room. Lift to the 2nd floor was a bonus.

Pretty Happy, Marc the guy at the reception was very nice and other people at the reception too.
No Breakfast, tea coffee available at the reception, Nice Cozy Rooms, Its a pretty small town so location does not matter much.

Well placed and could walk into Monteray.
It was quite a noisy location as it is placed in the middle of a busy junction.
