Parking was $17/night. I don't recall a parking fee last year and given the amount of parking available, I'm pretty bummed to have had to pay that on top of everything.
I can't quite figure out the room situation. Last year we booked a standard king room and our friends did as well. Our room was tiny with only a small bathroom and not much room around the bed. Our friend's room, by contrast, was huge (literally 3+ times the size). We were told that it's because we were in an older building.
In an effort to have a bit more room, this year we splurged and booked a King Suite which was significantly more expensive, yet seemed to be about the same size as our friend's "standard" king room. The bathroom was amazing, but there's no way we're going to pay that much again...we just want the decent-sized normal King room.
The hot water was laughable...we got about 5 minutes before it was all but gone which obviously isn't enough for two people to shower.
To my knowledge, there's no elevator to the second floor where the suites are. We're young enough that this isn't normally an issue, but I had a torn meniscus and carrying the luggage up and down the stairs was a nightmare.
Finally, the suites are next to the hotel's office and it was a bit noisy. Normally not an issue, but still.
