The Pottinger Hong Kong is a favorite hotel for its convenient location in Central, close to shopping malls and outlets. However, since reopening after COVID, there is no breakfast available in the h (Read More)otel and guests have to go to a nearby cafe. The staff and service are excellent, and the hotel is tastefully renovated. Some guests had issues with housekeeping and the lack of gym or other facilities. Overall, the hotel is praised for its comfortable rooms, central location, and beautiful design.

Superb

Charming hotel in an excellent location!

The location can't be beat! Smack in the middle of everything. Easy access to airport express and Central MTR. The hotel is beautifully designed and was comfortable and clean. Some of the furniture seemed worn and old but the decor was absolutely charming. Two bottles of water were complimentary each day. It was a nice calm and quiet place to relax while still being steps away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was quite expensive, but if you have the cash, this hotel is a must stay.

Exceptional

Luxury in a most convenient hotel

The location is amazing which is only a couple of minutes walk from ifc and hk airport express. Location to MTR is also very convenient with loads of local cafes around the hotel. Thank you so much to the concierge staff who was so kind to walk me closer to ifc with my luggages. This is an incredible hotel which I always feel incredibly safe and comfortable in.

Unfortunately no room service after 9pm, hopefully this returns soon!

Very good

Excellent location and very well-appointed rooms make this a great choice in Central.

The rooms are well appointed with high quality fixtures and fittings making for a very comfortable stay. They don't provide breakfast which is a little odd but no problem as there are plenty of breakfast options along Stanley Street so no issue.

Nothing. The stay was good. The staff were polite and efficient.

Small luxury in the heart of a buzzy street

Location is great ! Linkage to a well known photographer , Fan Ho is fantastic .

Post covid, the room felt less posh than my last visit.

Good if you get a high floor (the deluxe rooms). Dont book a cheaper room here (lower floors) unless youre a heavy sle

Very central. Good looking. Helpful staff.

No gym. Expensive for what it is - even with the location. VERY loud if you stay on the lower floors. On the 9th floor I couldnt sleep, even with ear plugs (too many bars pumping out music nearby). The staff were helpful and upgraded me to a 22nd floor room, and all was well. If an upgrade hadnt have been possible, though, Id have been paying hundreds of dollars to not sleep.
