    The Oitavos is a spacious hotel with large rooms and great facilities for relaxation, golfing, and enjoying the ocean. However, some guests felt that the lunch service staff was not attentive and had to ask for clarification on the buffet dishes. The surrounding scenery and location are not as impressive and it is far from the city.

    Its very spacious. The staff were super nice and kind. We had dinner and lunch, both experiences were amazing ! Great taste
    The spa area. I feel that the sauna and the common area could benefit from a remodeling.

    Beautiful rooms, great maid service (they did the most thorough job of cleaning Ive ever experienced in a hotel). Breakfast very good
    The only slight downsides were the staff around the pool were not very attentive and helped if you asked them but otherwise sort of stood around. This let the rest of the hotel down a bit as the other staff were very helpful

    Our stay in the wonderful Oitavos was pure luxury and comfort
    We enjoyed the very large room with its terrace and sea view. The beds are king size and very comfortable from the mattress to the quality of the sheets. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. The salt water pool is just wonderful, and so are to comfortable pool beds. In the morning the breakfast room is spacious with an option to enjoy your breakfast outside as well. The breakfast spread is quite fantastic, everything you could wish for. Breads, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs per order, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, and lovely sweet pastries. It was my husband's birthday and he was surprised in the. morning with a beautiful slice of chocolate tart with a happy birthday card from the staff. I had not mentioned his birthday, this was so thoughtful. We had dinner there twice, excellent food, and a sommelier who did a wine paring that was fun and delicious. The staff in general was sweet and very helpful if you had questions or asked for suggestions.

    It was a bit later in the summer and the weather was not great. But I think. the pool side service and menu could've been a little better. I mean there was service but it just could be better.

    Best stay in Caiscais and we dont play golf!
    Chilled out days at this gem of a hotel, dont be fooled on arrival you feel youve arrived at a hospital but inside awaits a wonderful stay, we stayed on the top floor with a large suite that had a large terrace. Plenty of room, more a junior suite than a usual bedroom. The restaurant was impeccable and the sommelier was an authentic superstar, with surprising us with the best of Portuguese wine. The pool area was large and enough space and privacy for all. Each staff was a superstar, nothing was too much.

    - the hotel is too big and has lots of empty space creating this conference venue type feeling in the common areas - bedroom needed maintenance in a vent which made noise
