The spa is relaxing and the rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The hotel is also safe and secure. However, there is room for improvement with the food in the ground floor restaurant. Overall, the stay was exceptional and memorable for the guests. They look forward to returning in the future.

Electrical connections need upgrading to XXI century. Not enough plug points and no USB points, so it is difficult to power iPhones, iPads .

Staff were hospitable. Breakfast was excellent. The interiors were sumptuous.

The balcony window in our room was faulty and repeatedly blowing open in a storm. My partner was recovering from a serious illness and was woken up by the wind and rain entering the room. Despite explaining to the staff that my partner was ill and in bed, we were not simply moved to a new room, but a series of people came into the room to repair the window, causing my partner serious distress and discomfort. The carpets in the room we were moved to were covered in large visible stains. Although the management were apologetic the following day, they offered nothing in the way of compensation.

Very good

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Grande Real Villa Italia and would recommend to friends.

Excellent location, easy parking outside (though not very busy, as it was November) and delicious breakfast with lots of variety. Staff generally friendly and polite.

Cleanliness in room not in line with the expectations of such a nice hotel; hair in bath and shower, some loose dirt on carpets in room.

Good sized room, well equipped and very comfortable bed. Very quiet room. In general, employees were all very friendly and helpful. Confortable and well decorated hotel.

Access to the bathtub is very difficult for short people, children or those with mobility difficulties. The air conditioning did not increase more than 23.5C. The breakfast, despite being good, for a 5-star hotel is very poor in terms of quality, I expected much more. At checkout they didn't ask how the experience had gone, it was in a hurry.

Fantastic Hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is situated right by the ocean, and it's 5 minutes walk to marina and 10 minutes walk to town. You can hire a bicycle at the marina at a reasonable price, there is various selection of bicycles and helmets provided. Double room was spacious with tall ceiling and a lovely view of the ocean. Beautiful Moroccan style bathroom with exceptional mosaic pattern throughout. Breakfast was exceptional, reception was very helpful and polite, they booked us taxis, restaurant reservations in Villa and in town. Dining at the hotel was a lovely experience, non alcoholic cocktails were delicious, restaurant food was reasonably priced. Spa is a must to pay a visit, therapists were very professional and the treatment was so good. We were treated so lovely at this hotel. Thank you for all your hard work Grande Villa Italia and Merry Christmas to you!

Very good

The room was beautiful. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the patio overlooking the pool and ocean was a nice treat for each day. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and overall the staff was friendly and helpful.

A Great Place to Stay in Cascais!!! Highly recommend!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They got us set up for dinner the night we were there at the Italian restaurant on the property. The room was lovely and made you feel like you were staying in a special place. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of food to choose room, even if you eat plant based.

Nothing! This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!
