    The property and its location is 4 star
    Imagine you pay a hefty amount and book a hotel, drive 5 hours (in august heat) to reach your destination and then after checking-in you wait and coordinate with hotel staff for next 3 hour to have the AC work in your allotted room. this was our horrible experience at Jai Bagh Palace, Jaipur. I made multiple calls to the reception but no relief and then walked myself to the reception to wake them up with my stern voice that the AC isn't working. wonder how they call themselves a 5 star property. oh wait, they charge Rs 50 if you need bathroom slippers in your room. let all ACs work prior to guest check-in. make bathroom slippers readily available in the rooms. train your staff on how to be quick in responding to guests, before it leads to a level of they regretting choosing your property to stay. Also have complementary offerings in place once you have troubled the guest of hours altogether. these are some hospitality lessons, we thought you would already know.

    The worse hotel I have ever stayed in.
    Property is beautiful
    Listed as a 5 star, but its barely worth any rating at all! We arrived at the hotel and werent even acknowledged by the reception team, we eventually got checked in and taken up to our room. We had booked one room for 3 people and had requested an additional bed during the booking process. When we got up to our room, we saw that there was a soiled mattress leaning against the window, I asked the porter where the additional bed is and he pointed at the mattress! I was absolutely stunned, we were expected to sleep on a soiled mattress in a 5 STAR HOTEL?! I told the porters to immediately remove the mattress and arrange for the extra bed to be brought up to our room. A few minutes later, the porters came back with a metal frame that looked like it had been picked up from the dump down the road! The frame was falling apart and was covered in dirt and cobwebs. I told the porters to leave the room with this bed immediately, and asked for them to send a manager up! Whilst waiting for the manager I went to wash my hands in our bathroom basin, before I knew it my feet were soaked! The basin was leaking! The manager came up to the room and was unable to offer me a solution to our bed situation. The regional sales manager of the hotel chain happened to be at the hotel at this point and he came to see us and assist us. He told us that they dont have additional beds, I asked why my booking was accepted if they couldnt accommodate us, unfortunately he didnt have an answer for me. I told him that the only solution is to offer us an additional room free of charge, and he agreed. However, the problems didnt end there! The bathrooms looked ok on the offset, however this was not the case! The shower was leaking from around 10 others places and there was more water shooting out from the top of the shower head then the actual shower! The toilet flush button jammed every time we used it! The issues are endless!

    not a good experience and would recommend to avoid booking through booking.com
    cleanliness and the ambiance
    there was no internet connectivity. service was poor. no welcome drinks on arrival and even booking.com charged way too much extra than other sites and there was not an iota of 5 star services at the property. even pool table was damaged. tv recharge was not on arrival and it remained the same throughout the stay. requested for decoration for celebration at the time of booking and there was no efforts for it either from property or booking.com

    Money Wasted & Were Cheated
    Nothing that I would like to mention as they have cheated us. If you plan to visit same do read the next didn't like section carefully. It's not as good as what you'll feel like in photographs. Just a glorified wedding venue or a modern dharamshala.
    1. NO GST invoice provided after reminding for 5+ times and they cheated by saying will be emailed. 2. It's not a 5 star definitely and should not be in a 5-star filter on booking.com 3. Location is not suitable for a late-night approach. 4. Air valve covers of my Audi were stolen within hotel parking. 5. Inclusions mentioned were not provided 6. Main light in the room was not working. 7. Shower was not working. 8. Staff gave wrong intercom details, and next day got to know the right number, no intercom number details info card was there 7. Dinners/ Breakfast was pathetic, people were literally snatching stuff, as even essentials like butter were in shortage and it took them 30 minutes to arrange at 9 30 am, as a guy was dispatched to purchase from some shop. 8. Forget if even they'll serve cold water at dinner time, just a couple of guys managing at peak times. 9. Hospitality missing, reception is a mess, when we reached the staff was having an altercation with a guest and my family was standing literally for a long time, as no one approached for luggage, forget about welcome drink etc. 10. Staff is not at all trained, just random hires.

    Beware, hotel is not as advertised
    The location
    This was the worst 5 star hotel experience of my life and need to compensated for the highway robbery my family just endured. We arrived at 11pm (I notified the hotel via email when we would arrive, and received an email saying ok sir), when we arrived everything was dark, there was nobody at reception... after we finally got taken care of, we went into the room. The room had the no heating system, no running hot water at night, no wifi, no ironing board/iron, barely an TV channels available, and no toiletries... These are all things one would expect in a hotel Booking.com shows as 5 star, some of these things such as wifi were even promised online. We requested food, there was no options except lentils and rice (which we were charged an exuberant fee for the next day). The towels we were provided had stains on them and the beds sheet had what looked like a blood stain. Simply awful. This was hands down the most awful experience of my life, my family drove 10 hrs, hoping to find relief in our five star accommodation and were greatly disappointed... and to add insult to injury we were charged more than a 1/3 of the 4 night stay when we decided to leave the morning after we arrived. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. A mockery of 5 stars when it was barely 2.
