    A pleasant luxury stay
    The property is beautiful with a really pretty garden, stunning decor, a sense of old world charm and the vibe of the whole place is great. Its well maintained and extremely picturesque. The staff were polite and prompt. They helped us book cabs on all the days. It was a comfortable stay. There is an adorable dog and some puppies at the moment which made our stay even more amazing.
    The breakfast spread was disappointing. When you are booking a property like Elgin its normal to expect a more wholesome breakfast. The options were minimal and caters more to a certain kind of tourists. We faced power cut a couple of times specifically in our room every time we turned the heater and the electric kettle on. I suppose its a sign of power overload. Maybe needs some attention in this department. But every time we informed the staff they immediately took action and solved it.

    The facilities and the hotel in itself was wonderful and cozy.
    One side of the hotel rooms have magnificent views of the garden and the mountain. However, the other side faces the road and the wall. Unfortunately, I got the room on the other side that was noisy because of the road and no great view. I would advise guests to confirm if you can get the view first. If not, it could be a huge miss for the price you pay.

    The Heritage property is well maintained and a great place to relax. Rooms are spacious & just beautiful with an old world charm. Overall very good stay
    Staff service could be better / Not so pleasant experience at breakfast on both days. Unprepared and relaxed with not much available

    Exotic elegant stay in Kalimpong
    This was perhaps one of the most memorable of stays in India and the heritage property is one of the most gorgeos ever. The reception staff, manager, housekeeping staff especially Maya and the restaurant staff were exceptional. The food is very good and since we were at the time of lower occupancy the al lacarte breakfast was beautiful . The lawns and Gazebo are absolutely gorgeous as well.

    some old world colonial feel but generally very tired and worn
    Feels like nothing has moved for decades. staff try hard but no investment in training, F&B offering, infrastructure - wall window noise, etc. property has great potential but owners need to wake up - same for Elgin Darjeeling
