Very good

Food was very good and quantity was decent. Staff is very polite, helping and courteous. Big rooms, decent bath.

Room needs some basic facilities like heater, bathroom sleepers.

Superb

We had a wonderful stay at The Alnus Retreat Ravangla. It is very close to Budhha Park and Cho-dzo lake(walking distance). The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and value for money. They serve freshly cooked food. The view of Kanchenjunga from room balcony was good. We stayed in the king room.

The lighting in the restaurant should be a bit more. There should be a lift for aged customers in the hotel. There are stairs for reaching the room.

Extremely courteous and welcoming staff, owner Rishabh is a wonderful guy. Beautiful, large and clean rooms and bathrooms, my parents and myself absolutely loved our stay here. Just a few mins walk to the Buddha Park- the morning walks we had were wonderful. Would highly recommend this place!

DON'T TAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS SO CASUALLY. DON'T TELL LIES TO THEM. SATIFFY THEM, THEY'LL PAY YOU !!

Looking for bread and toast. They failed to provide bread. We had to take roti and sabji instead. There was no breakfast buffet unfortunately. There was no mountain viewed from the room's balcony contrary as promised in your description.

In hospitality business, I believe your behavior and politeness is your actual USP. They have construction works going on for the upper floors. So rest of the rooms on the second floor are not well maintained. Linen and bedsheets given initially were uncleaned. Changed when requested. No telephone and TV connection in the room. No hot water in the bathroom. Well there was electricity issue I understand. The owner has informed me that the property is a homestay. 5000 bucks for a homestay room is impossible! Although, the description has different story to tell. We talked to the owner on telephone. He was unapologetic if not rude. On the next day, his manager told us that we were not required to pay the bill of food! When I asked for the bill of the room, the staff said he couldn't give. There was surprising requests from the staff to leave the room at 11 am while I had received a mail from Booking.com saying your request to check out in between 12 - 1 pm has been approved by the owner !!!!!!!!! I had to show this mail to the staff, just imagine. Why don't they close the property for some months, complete the construction works and restart it with a grand look and trained staff? And Sir, please share me your gpay/phonepe no, I am ready to send you the food bill that you have waivered. It is not more than Rs 1500/-. My unflinching trust on Booking.com has even shaken a bit due to this unexpected experience.

Polite, professional service; comfortable overnight stay.

Sumptuous breakfast... Very tasty Aloo Paratha & Sabzi, washed down with piping hot tea Very promt room service Wonderful view of mountain peaks from the hotel...

Renovation work was in progress when we visited. Once the work is completed, I am sure, the hotel will be even more comfortable to stay in.
