1.Location near to entry gate of Wayanad 2.Nearby Wilton hotel is there (walkable of 500 m ,one of the premium restaurant in Wayanad. 3.Owner explains about the property very well and their hospitality is excellent

1.No toiletries provided 2.No television ,pool & Wi-Fi . 3.Cost is on higher side ,with less than this cost nearby hotels /resorts available with various inclusion like pool,welcome drinks ,toiletries.

Great stay for experiencing Wayanad in its original.

The location of the property is great and the host Mr. Jamshed is very responsive. He helped us with every little thing that we needed. This is located within a tea estate of the owner and there is ample open space to hike and explore. We loved the stay.

Superb stay at the tea estate. Must stay at the place to feel connected to the nature. Awesome host!

We reached a bit earlier than the check in time but the owner of the property Jamshed received us with a warm welcome and although the rooms were still getting ready, he gave us a short but very informative tour to the amenities and we enjoyed a cup of nice coffee. In the afternoon, Jamshed took us to a short trek through the tea gardens within his estate. His witty and enthusiastic nature is what made us feel special. After the breakfast next morning, he took us to other part of his property to pickup the fresh lot of tea leaves while we stood back of his pickup truck. It was totally fun filled and bit of thrilling experience. He is also very passionate and has knowledge about sustainable living and he shares his wisdom with all. In my opinion, having his company itself was the differentiating factor among other such stay options. Talking about rooms, we stayed in two BHK apartment in the main building out of two buildings in this estate and the view of tea estate from the balcony was mesmerizing. It was very peaceful and kind of place where you would want to wake up and have your morning tea every day. The rooms were clean, tidy and specious. Beds were very comfortable and linens felt fresh. Kitchen had tea/ coffee maker kit and lots of empty space that I guess could be used a bit better.

After checking in, we had to order the food from a near by restaurant as the cooking staff was on a day off due to Diwali - I think, this was the only thing that I found bit off for a place that accept the booking but didn't have backup plans for such food request.

A truly transforming experience

The entire stay was amazing. Jamshed is the owner and an amazing person and guide. He ensured we had a great time, gave us a tour of the entire place, told us abt the different plants and veggies growing in the place which was interesting. He has travelled a lot and has a lot of experience in this, we were impressed with the energy and charisma with which he handled everything. Fully amazed with his enthusiasm to tell us abt the place, the plants and everything really. The board game Sequence was super fun and addictive, do ask Jamshed abt it. The caretaker Mithun also helped us a lot (there was an issue with out tempo, and he helped in contacting the right people and made sure it got solved), the food was really good as well. One thing I love abt traveling is the people you meet, bonds formed and take aways from the experiences. Totally recommend stay at this place and connect with Jamshed. A truly transforming experience. We will certainly come back again...

Make sure to wear socks to avoid the leeches. You will find them in all the southern rainforest tourist places like Wayanad, Coorg, Chikmaglur, etc. Do google to read more abt it.

The best holiday we've had since long.

Location - fantastic, in a tea estate. The owner, Jamshed, is a gem. Took us, 4 senior citizens, on a hike to the top of the hill, among the tea trees. Beautiful place, very good rooms in a twin bedded villa, with complete privacy. Very good breakfast. A small brook runs through the estate. Great lawns.

Jamshed, start a restaurant. No other complains.

Therapeutic weekend at Wayanad

The location is exceptionally good. We stayed right in the middle of a tea estate, our balconies (yes, there were 2 of them for the same room) jutting right into the tea gardens. In a span of 2 days we saw all seasons - sun, fog, rain, storm. Without even having to step out you get all the beauties of Wayanad right there. It is green all around and a treat to the eyes. Don't miss a dip in the surprise waterfall gushing down from the top, all within the premises. Breakfast was served in the balcony just as we had requested - piping hot Kerala cuisine. I am still drooling. Please look out for Jamshed and his Man Friday Midhun to offer you a trip of a lifetime. Can't wait to go back.

Nothing that we disliked. Suggested Jamshed to start a full-time kitchen so that we get lunch and dinner at the premise itself. You have ample options around the place anyway right now.
