Whoever decided to call this a resort hasnt been into one. I booked a courtyard view room since I didnt have any options, and I was placed into a dark room under some stairs with a view of a fire extinguisher. Im attaching pictures of our view, so you can judge for yourself. Next to our room were the cleaning staff facilities. Youd think its good - no neighbors. Wrong! The cleaning people started rolling their buckets at 7am.
Someone in another review mentioned that the resort provides comfortable fluffy robes. There were robes all right. Made from cheap polyester and of XD size. I am not a large person, but I was not able to wrap the robe around myself.
Oh, did I mention there is absolutely none soundproofing? So when our neighbors decided to take a shower at 6:30, we were woken up, then the cleaning crew started their routine at 7 (I thought they have a cleaning window between check out at 11am and check in at 3pm, but apparently they are ready to roll at sunrise).
I honestly tried to get back to sleep, but gave up and got up. I hoped at least the breakfast would be the resort quality, but this hope evaporated when I was given a set of plastic utensils and asked if I wanted a waffle. I know that continental breakfast is usually not that exciting, but here they didnt even have fried eggs, only some sad bacon and sausages. Again, posture is attached. Their orange juice canister was nearly empty, but they had plenty of vanilla and strawberry yogurts.
I am not even mentioning that the receptionist looked like she was making me a favor, the room needed a facelift, the pillows looked like someone already slept on them, the light switches were located in some random places, and the AC/heater would wake up a dead person.
Overall, this is the most disappointing experience Ive had. This place is overpriced for what they provide, it should not be called a resort. Save your money, stay somewhere else!
