    Wallabies!
A place that is nature-friendly and very treasure-like.
It is hard to go and a noisy guest. However, an immediate action by the manager :)

A YHA with a difference in the most stunning location
The location as the only operating hotel on the peninsula is amazing. Great value for money. The managers Katie and Bergia were so welcoming and helpful, giving advice on walks and bringing up coffee in the morning :) I felt so at home here. The kitchen is large and well-supplied, and the lounge area is really cozy with a huge fireplace. I did some fantastic walks around the national park from the YHA and I highly recommend the ferry from Palm Beach to the top of the peninsula too. *Note that you can only get here by ferry so come before dark!*

    Wonderful, peaceful, well equipped YHA
Katie was very friendly and took time to explain the setup and facilities. The YHA was clean and comfortable throughout. The deck area looks over the valley to the water and is a wonderful setting for peace and quiet relaxation. The common room is well equipped with furniture, books, games and a fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, the rooms are clean. Good walking tracks. Excellent birdlife and a wallaby with little joey on the grass infront of the deck. A wonderful place, I'll be back!
    There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Charming ferry ride to a gem near the city.
Ferry ride to a gem so close to the city. Warm welcome from Katie and Bergia. Well equipped kitchen and a cosy common room with board games and books. All food needs to be carried in so we stocked up at Mona Vale. The B1 express bus leaves Sydney every 10 minutes to Mona Vale, then transfer to bus No 156 (McCarrs Creek) to Church point Ferry wharf. Bus goes every 30 minutes and ferry is hourly. Remember to hoist the flag at the wharf for your return trip to signal that you need to be collected. There is a convenience store at the Church Point wharf.
