Pleasant

The manager and staff were very helpful, providing information and advice on local travel etc. The location was close to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is a mixture of self catering and ordinary rooms. Some of the rooms/ furniture / dcor were a little tired but all were functional. There were also some were newly constructed rooms which were very good. There was a pool and sunbeds located in a central courtyard. It was in a quiet location situated down a side street off the main road.

Great location for our first nights in Sri Lanka. Close to beach and plenty of restaurants. Staff were super friendly, and the pool was great!

No mozzy nets in the room, although the staff put one up for our kids when we asked.

10/10 stay. Would highly recommend this great accommodation with lovely hosts.

Everything! The grounds were lovely, with lots of luscious plants and wildlife. The staff/hosts were extremely welcoming and always happy to help. The breakfast was delicious. The location is ideal if you want a quiet retreat that is near the beach, with a pool to cool off.

Being surrounded by nature, there is quite a bit of noise outside the rooms at night time. This wasnt a huge problem for us but may be something to consider if youre a light sleeper. This is something you should expect anywhere in Sri Lanka, with birds a plenty - and it is completely out of the hosts control. But worth noting.

Nice pool area, comfortable spacious rooms, clean, kind host family

A mosquito net would have been nice, since there were many mosquitoes in the room (even when keeping all windows and doors closed as much as possible)
