Amazing staff, spotless and great location

Wonderful staff, attentive and friendly. Lovely breakfast and great location for the beach and restaurants. This is a boutique experience and has an intimate, friendly atmosphere. My second stay and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

My thanks to all the staff who helped me with accommodation and transfer by car or taxi.

Firstly I loved the Hotel and the rooms. Because as a solo traveller in all I stayed in a fantastic selection of rooms. Then the hotel front desk office staff were excellent especially Thilina, then my rock Damith and the reservations Manager Danu. Also my thanks go to the Mr Dick Deekman who helped me stay in the resort longer because of delays travelling into India (December 2023). The breakfast called the Royal Dickman Breakfast was excellent. The fruit platter, Sri Lankan Omelette and Mango juice was so good. The service was also of a very high standard from all the team working together. I sat around the pool for six days and who could resist the weather, complimentary watermelon slices and ice cold smoothies by the pool.

Lovely responsiveness and friendly staff, clean large comfy rooms, boutique Bali/Morrocan vibes, feel delicious breakfast! Only one night in transit and wish we could have stayed longer!

This is the small boutique hotel that can. The staff are absolutely incredible. They chatted, they told many jokes and they looked after us in a way that a 5 star hotel could not. The service was second to none, the breakfast delicious, the room comfortable and the pool spectacular. And the fact that its LGBTIQ friendly just makes it even better. I loved my stay here.

I cant think of anything at this point, it was a great stay.

Dickman resort is a real gem in Negombo. Beautifully designed garden and amazing rooms. We stayed in the Mango suite which was absolutely the nicest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka. (all rooms have different themes) Biggest, most comfortable bed, coffee machine, large TV with movie channel, lovely shower and good wifi... The pool outside the door was lovely and the sunbeds comfortable. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and very service minded. The breakfast is not good. 100 m away was the beach promenade with all the hustle and bustle, but at the resort it was quiet and nice. We will choose this hotel more times.

Photos dont do this hotel justice, we loved our stay here. Pool, room and bathroom were amazing. Highly recommended, especially if you need to get to the airport
