    Stallm�stareg�rden Hotel in Stockholm offers a peaceful setting near the city center, perfect for those who want to be away from the crowds. The breakfast is exceptional and there are great options f (Read More)or kids to enjoy. The 300+ year old rooms are in good condition, although not very spacious. The food at the hotel is delicious and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Its location near Hagaparken and overlooking the lake adds to its charm.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was so comfortable. It was like sleeping on feathers. The suite was very clean tidy and warm. (It was minus 15 outside!!). The restaurant was first class. Very tasty meals and excellent service.
    Steps in suite were a bit steep other than that no real concerns.

    It could be much better.
    The view of the park near the hotel, during the evening.
    The room, including the furniture and equipment, were a bit too old. In addition, the kitchen of the restaurant was closing far too early, so only cold food was available after 21:00. And this is happening to a 1-star Michelin restaurant.

    Beautiful stay, but needed an upgrade
    Its situated against the most beautiful backdrop of a lake, which when we visited, was covered in snow. Really peaceful and a lovely place for a walk. The general ambience and vibe of the hotel was lovely, and felt very cosy and the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous. Loads of choice, friendly staff, and a nice view.
    We stayed in a standard room and found it to be extremely warm - suffocatingly so, with no means to turn the heat down. The room was quite small and faced the car park/highway, meaning opening a window to let cool air in, also mean hearing traffic/sirens. Thankfully the staff were super quick to help us fix it, and upgraded us to a deluxe room, which disclaimer, is the same as a standard room but facing the gardens so it was much quieter and we could open a window. The hotel was probably a little too far out from the centre than we realised, which given it snowed, created an issue getting around. A hire car would help this. Also found the beds on the soft side, but thats just our preference for firmer beds.

    Perfect stay!!
    Hotel was very warm and welcoming. It had a traditional feel to it with amazing views. The staff were excellent!! Very polite and helpful at all times throughout our stay. :) Location was great public transport within 5-10mins walking distance.

    The hotel is situated down by a lake, so if you were lucky enough to get a seat by the window while you had your breakfast you could enjoy the lovely view. The continental breakfast was lovely and there is plenty of choice.The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and comfortable and was always clean and tidy. We also had a lovely evening meal there.
    The only thing and it is not a reflection on the hotel was it was further out from some of the attractions. But for the few days we were there we used uber to get us around.
