About Spices Lap, Thekkady

The Spices Lap Plantation Resort is tucked away within a never-ending array of hills and the aroma of spices. It strikes a balance between the old and the new, all while taking in Thekkady's surreal beauty. You'll notice cottages and houses with South Asian and Keralan architectural styles as you approach the resort, which is situated along a meandering road with finely planted gardens. Sloped roofs are used in the design of the luxuriously furnished, Jacuzzi-equipped, and garden villas higher up the slope. A lavishly furnished tree house with a view of the distant mountains is located in a remote area of the plantation, perched above the lush canopy of a tropical forest.

Peaceful stay in tranquil surroundings

The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful, food was of good quality

Though it is advertised as in Thekkady, place is around 20km plus and takes more than 30 mts drive to reach Kumily

The view and staffs. The location is good, it is good place for relaxation. Wifi is good.

No sound proof between rooms. Breakfast needs to be improved.

OVERALL IS NICE. THE FOOD IS NICE ESPECIALLY FISH CURRY.

ONLY ONE THING IS VERY FAR FROM THE CITY IN BOOKING.COM SAID IS 1KM FROM THE CITY BUT IS AROUND 30KM FROM THE CITY.

Nightmare experience at Spice Lap

5 is very Good. Serenely good Place.

The quality of Rooms, the staff were not at all friendly. The food was lower than average. The extra bed for kid was was too hard like a log of wood. Can't sleep for sure.

Friendly staff, nice surroundings but way too expensive for what it offers.

Nice surroundings. Good dinner. Friendly staff.

Very strong smell of moisture in the room. Staff had troubles to understand English. Lack of windows in the room. Power outage several times a day. Wrong hotel location on booking.com which made our stay more complicated.
