Overall pleasant stay and my kids loved it!!
Nice & clean, good staff, locality close to orchard road. Newton Hawker centre and MRT were just across the road so it was all well in place connecting the city.
Breakfast was good but the local food varieties were very very limited, for which you go to Newton Hawkers center. Indian varieties were also not available and the South Indian idly were not up to mark which could have been better. Western and continental food varieties were good.

Comfortable and nice
Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to assist. Rooms are very clean and the bedding was excellent made for good nights sleep. Newton food market is within close walking distance as is the MRT which is excellent service. Location is good for short business trip.
Location isnt ideal for holiday stay and review reflects from that perspective. Rooms need updating with power outlets moved to more convenient locations to do hair and makeup. Drinks bar needs to provide some light snack / food options after 9.30pm as the in room dining is limited . Would have preferred to spend some quiet time having drinks and a small meal rather than order in room. Spa needs to be re- opened. Isnt much to do within the grounds of the hotel or lobby if weather or other conditions prevent exploring outside it. Having stated this I would stay if on a business trip where my spare time is limited to after work.

The wardrobes had a odour .
The sheets on three of the beds out of six had a odour .
Not what you expect from a 5* hotel at the rates that were paid .
