Fab location. Easy to bus into central Singapore to see the big sites. Great food and hawker places nearby. Nice and close to the airport too. Stay were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and large comfy beds. Rooftop pool was also perfect for escaping the heat.

Very convenient location for the airport, nice historic area, lovely roof top pool.
The heritage suite is a nice spacious room perfect for a family. We had stayed before and I asked for the sofa to be made up with bedding before our evening arrival for my 9 year old daughter. On arrival the receptionist told me that there was no longer a sofa bed in the room! But she checked with a colleague who confirmed that the sofa was still in the room and had been made up into a bed. There's plenty of space, even with the sofa made into a bed.
It would be good to have mugs provided - the tea cups are a little small for the free tea/coffee provided. Would be helpful to have towels for the pool.

Good location. Great connectivity. Good selection of eateries nearby. Room sizes quire small, which is common in Singapore. Good wifi.
At the time of check in, the bathrooms were not super clean. There were hairs present from the previous occupants.

I liked the overall style of the property and its neighborhood.
I was annoyed when the room they gave me was right next to the restaurant and audible noise was disturbing my sleep all the time, especially cause I just came from a longhaul flight. I read here many other people had quite the same experience as I had, hence I have to pull some rating points away. I asked to change the room which the staff luckily did and that room was much much better.

Room size was sufficient. Enough for 2. It was book for my family. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because there are so many eatery outside the hotel. Same boutique hotel about 20mins from the airport. Location was good because they are many local restaurants near by with really good food and going to the center of Singapore is just about 30mins by bus. Bus stop is located in front of the hotel.

Sylvia was extremely nice and helpful. She was so accommodating and friendly and even allowed me to use the pool after I checked out which was extremely helpful because I needed to freshen up before my midnight flight.

A great pick in a cool atmospheric area not far away from the airport.
The room (Katong Heritage Suite) was huge with a separate sleeping area (double and single bed), desk area and sofa area (the sofa folded out into another bed which they put bedding on for my daughter at no extra charge. It doesn't have windows that you can see out of but there are small high windows with decorative coloured panes of glass so daylight came in and it didn't feel claustrophobic. The room faces the front and side of the hotel, overlooking the main road, but we didn't hear any traffic noise. The location is great - an easy walk to many restaurants, close to the heritage area, and close to the East Coast Park for walks/running/playgrounds. There's an underpass to cross the large road running alongside the park.

Nothing really. If I had to say something, the shower (over the bath) had a curtain so some water would go down onto the floor where it didn't quite touch the wall. The tea cups provided in the room (nice to have tea and coffee!) are small so you can't make a mug of tea or coffee.
