Very good

Excellent staff very helpful. Good location near the beach and surrounding was serene. Well maintained swimming pool with kids pool too. Cottages are nice to relax. Bike rental is a plus since location is quite remote.

In house dining not available for dinner. Location access roads are poor.

Good location, by beach and though away from the busy cliff area, not too far either. Excellent staff, hospitality and services.

Some of the guests were loud, particularly late night.

Rooms Nothing good here, very very waste.. only beach location is good.

Hotel very worst, room full very bad smell. The room is not very clean and there are huge cockroaches all over the room..

A perfect location for a peaceful vacation. Lot of places to walk around with amazing views. Clean beach and good restaurnts nearby, walkable distance from Cliff. Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast served with love and affection.

Our stay was pleasant but smaller details needs attention

We liked the location of the property and the deluxe cottage where we stayed. The property is clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The delux cottage description has sea view but its not. Consider that while booking if you are explicitly looking sea view from your room. The commode chair was broken. Towels were stinking.

Great stay

Big rooms with fully working AC and storage. Comfy beds and standard toilets. Breakfast was delicious, with watermelon juice, tea, coffee, and a choice of Indian or western. Aka bowl of fruits, dosas or omelet /fried eggd with jam + butter + toast. The views from the resort are top noch! Serving breakfast right at the ocean side watching the waves.

The pool water was so dirty, it needed to be changed. The furniture around the pool as in sunbeds needed maintenance or changing. They were not enough.

Unfortunately, based on our experience, we do not plan to return.

The resort is situated in a beautiful location, though it can be intimidating after dark due to the absence of street lights and nearby resorts. On the positive side, the beach is pristine with minimal crowds, offering a sense of privacy.

Food: The dining situation at the resort leaves much to be desired. They exclusively offer breakfast, and even that is limited to a predetermined menu verbally communicated by the staff. Requests for items beyond the given options are promptly rejected. Notably, they lack a fruit bowl, a common breakfast offering. There is no buffet option, and the only juice available is watermelon, which is overwhelmingly dilutedapproximately 90% water. To illustrate this, I've attached a photo of the juice we took to our room and froze, revealing a complete absence of melon. If you're contemplating lunch or dinner, the resort provides no options, suggesting ordering from external services like Swiggy. Consequently, we found ourselves traveling approximately 5 kilometers to the other part of Varkala whenever we desired a meal. Services: Basic service etiquette is conspicuously absent. The staff lacks familiarity with fundamental service norms. During one breakfast, despite repeated requests, we never received a water bottle that we had asked for at the beginning. The staff seemed indifferent to our requests, which happened multiple times. Facilities: The swimming pool is disappointingly dirty, lacking proper cleanliness maintenance. The bathrooms are subpar, with seat covers falling off. Additionally, the so-called deluxe rooms lack a basic amenitya television. Despite these shortcomings, the resort is commendable for its overall cleanliness.
