I didn't like the location, it's a bit far from the city crowd. You need to spend 150/200 rs to go to city places.

Wouldnt Recommend

The day manager was nice and friendly, staff helpful to try to fulfil my requests of what was missing in our room. The common entrance area of the hotel looks stylish in a heritage haveli way.

The hotel was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. I was really looking forward to using a pool that (from photos) looked nice. It was freezing cold, small, only 2 sun beds that cant be moved easily, and generally was quite tired looking. In need of some love. The room (standard double) was super plain, which was a surprise as the hotel interior common areas are so nicely decorated. The bathroom was shockingly plain, and the fridge looked like it hadnt been on or cleaned out for a long time so we couldnt use it. The padlock on the door situation means that while the room is locked and you are out in the city they cant clean it, so the padlocked door system doesnt quite work in my opinion. Also, we arrived quite late and found the following missing from the room; water, water glasses, towels, bathroom floor matt, waste bin, bedside lamp. Pretty basic things. I had informed them in advance that we were getting in at 11pm/midnight but that message wasnt passed on to the night team, so apparently they didnt think I was turning up and therefor didnt prepare the room properly, but didnt get in touch to ask or check.bit strange. The restaurant food was average, bad powdered packet coffee and unfresh carton juice but good omelettes. The route to local restaurants is down a very busy road which feels unsafe to walk next to but not far enough to justify a tuktuk so I wouldnt say the location is very good either.

Great value

Wonderful architecture and traditional vibe for a budget price! Staff were friendly and food in the rooftop restaurant was decent.

Bathrooms need an update, but quite fine for the price. Also we were made to pay in cash because the machine wasnt working, and they refused to accept bank transfer but didnt tell us why.
