Very good

Been a few years since we stayed here but won't be as long when we return.

Perfect location,onside parking which in Edinburgh is a massive bonus. Very attentive staff,always available to help and assist.

Breakfast a bit manic due to volume of customers but credit where its due,staff performed admirably despite under pressure.

Superb

Great location, well worth a visit!

Great location, nice hotel, spacious rooms, cant complain, would definitely stay there again.

The only downside was the pool is small and was quite cold but other than that the hotel is ideal for a night or 2 in the capital!

Superb

Great hotel in a great location. I would 100% go again.

Clean. The location is excellent. Not too noisy. The staff were great. The meals were very good. Nice layout.

We all want a bit cheaper, but it was not OTT. There were a few spots on door frames that could do with a lick of paint, just here and there.

Very good

We had a lovely break but I think it was a bit pricey.

The location is perfect.

No room in the bar area to drink. The room was not immaculately clean and the cleaner did not refill the coffee pods or sugars so we had to ask for more we also ran out of shower gel in the bath.

Amazing location and hotel!

The staff, location and all the top quality facilities whether it was the spa, the rooms or in the lobby. Natasha OConnor in particular (front desk) was amazing and looked after us as it was our wedding anniversary.

Superb stay

Superb room. Size and cleanliness was excellent. Brilliant view and great location. Staff were attentive and pleasant.

We asked for twin beds from the booking date. I followed the request up to ensure we could do this. Once arrived, we were told this wasn't possible.

Wouldnt go back nor recommend.

Nice hotel in a great area.

Rooms were poor. First room we were given was very cold and the air conditioning to warm the room was not working. They brought an oil filled radiator but then moved room on our insistence. The new room was warm, but the shower was lukewarm and the pressure a dribble

Disappointing

- The location was perfect in the middle of everything. Most of the places we wanted to go were between 5 to 50 mins walking distance! And the bus station is nearby and taxis are always around. - Room size was good for two people - we were able to check in early

- always food smell right at the entrance and the reception - the mattress wasnt comfortable and when I lay down on one side the other side goes up - one of the lights was constantly flickering - although there was room cleaning every day. It wasnt very good. - No one is checking the shampoo and conditioner containers. One of them was not even working. - We had two fire alarms during our stay on the same day and we had to clear out of the hotel and from what I understood it was because of a malfunction in something in the stairway. They werent very clear about it. - When we asked if there was room service on Christmas eve and Christmas day, no one at the reception knew! Everyone wasnt sure! And asked us to check on the day to see if there is.. - no cooler or mini fridge inside the room
