I love the reception area with the log burners it's so cosy
There were no robes in our room so when we went to the spa from the room we had to go fully clothed which was a potch. In the past we have had bath robes and flip flops complimentary. The spa had no robes to give us which was a bit disappointing when we were staying in the hotel. The occupants of the room next door snored so loudly it kept me awake all night. The walls must be so thin and it spoilt me stay.

Pleasant stay, staff were really helpful and genuine so that is a plus
Location is good for the town, swimming pool is a good size as is the gym. Breakfast was plentiful and good choice though the hot buffet was odd, counter overseeing the kitchen and a small selection .
Parking is a nightmare, the ncp carpark is opposite but wouldn't want to leave a car over night. The hotel should be more pro active in this department as will go back to other hotels in Cardiff that have better parking options

Awful, will never stay there again
Lovely central location
For a Radisson Property it was drastically lacking in both service and comfort. Everything from the check in to the stay was sub standard to say the least. We were in Cardiff looking at the university so convenience and comfort were key. We got in at 2:30/2:45 soaked from being caught in the storm. We had 2 superior rooms booked and were told that we could have 1 as the other was not ready. When I asked why as we were evidently soaked and needed to change out of our wet clothes - I was rather tersely told that check in was at 3pm. My husband had been parking the car in the car park across the road and came in literally 5min after us. He asked a different male attendant when the room would be ready and was given another room key and told that the other was not ready. In actual fact it turns out that BOTH were ready as both attendants had given us a room key separately. I was also told that no rooms were available next to each other - as I had requested these at the time of booking. It turns out they were next to each other. The heating in the rooms DID NOT work. It was freezing cold and the temp just would not adjust. No one bothered to attend to it. Rooms had a musty smell. This hotel would be best placed to take some lessons from the rest of the Radisson Group. We spent the next night @ the Radisson Blu in Durham which was a great experience overall. Nice hotel and room
Location of the room was towards the front of the hotel where most of the noise was. It was tricky to get any sleep due to the loud thumping noises.

Very good
The location was great! The rooms were spacious and very clean. Good facilities, bar, food and pool. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The sofa bed, we had a family room, was extremely uncomfortable. Our son couldnt sleep on it as could feel every spring in the mattress!
