Nice hotel overall, but not worth the money you pay for.

Nice recently renewed rooms and very nice personnel. Rooms were cleaned daily and we felt weve been taken care of.

We felt it wasnt a good value for the money we paid for. We were located by the tower with ocean view, however, most of the sight were the nearby hotels and peeks of people walking on the balcony of such hotel. Also, we felt we didnt have our privacy when sitting on our balcony - random people from the hallway would come by right next to our balcony, talk, smoke, play music and take a indiscrete peek at our place (see the picture), as the barrier set was quite small. Moreover, we were there for New Years Eve, and we were expecting some sort of entertaining activities (a live band, for example). We arrived at the hotel around 10 PM and the recreational area was unexpectedly dark and silent. Very disappointing. Also, no microwave was available in the room.

I highly recommend the Outrigger Reef Resort. I couldn't have asked for better service or comfort.

The Outrigger Reef Resort was amazing. The hotel front desk staff are so friendly, efficient and caring of the guests. The valets are very prompt, kind and take exceptional care of your vehicle. I appreciated the professional, yet very friendly conversations the valet staff and manager provided throughout my week stay. The front desk staff were so helpful in providing me answers to all my questions on events, travel and a few needs that came up for my room stay. By my second day at the hotel, I felt very comfortable with the staff and my way to navigate around Waikiki. The onsite dine in restaurant has wonderful food and drinks. The daily breakfast is outstanding, felt like a high level chef prepared the meals and their prices are affordable. The bar/restaurant outside in the open pool area was amazing. Food and drinks so good and the entertainment each night was wonderful and so authentic to the Hawaiian atmosphere. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Hotel cleaning staff were so kind and kept our towels fresh each day and our room was always so tidy when we returned from our site seeing each day. This was my first time at the Outrigger and I plan on returning in 2024 for another wonderful trip.

Only thing that could be improved on would be more ice machines on the hotel floors. Also would appreciate more healthy drink options in the vending machines, like juices, vitamin water, etc.

We were kindly given a free upgrade by this hotel. It was a comfortable stay with a large living room, two bedrooms, and a really large lanai. The lounge was also in a great location.

Wi-Fi in the room was too weak to use.

Superb

Overall everything was really nice, save the breakfast options with voucher.

Breakfast menu selection that was included with voucher at the monkey pod was very limited. After 3 mornings of eating the same things, we went to Dennys across the street.

Good

Location was great, close to the beach. Room size was good for 4 adults. The rooms were very clean.

The staff at reception werent very helpful. Breakfast was slow and you often had to wait for a table when the restaurant was only a quarter full. The menu was very limited and not a lot of variety.

Loved it.

Great location, had an Abc store and a Starbucks in the hotel. The Monkeypod restaurant had really good pie my husband and I would get pie to go and split it.

My key stopped working for the stair case the last 3 days of our trip. I didnt like the elevator.
