Rooms were tastefully decorated with antiques, lovely knick-knacks and interesting paintings. Bed was one of the comfiest we've slept in! Beautiful garden to relax in. Food was delicious and staff were amazing. One of the best places in the Galle Fort!

A charming oasis in the heart of the Fort.

An historic house and a little oasis well located in the Fort. Quiet, comfortable, unpretentious and very relaxing. Lovely verdant garden and refreshing small pool. Its like staying in a friends house. The owners were charming and the staff were really wonderful. A very enjoyable stay.

The property was absolutely lovely, beautiful gardens & a swimming pool. We had a Safari and had to leave at 4.30am

Exceptional Orchard House

We loved everything. The location was fantastic. The staff were amazing. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and freshly prepared at a time you chose. They even made us breakfast on the day we left even though we were leaving at 6:30 am. We couldnt fault it. Its not very big so you dont have to fight for space etc. the swimming pool was a great temperature. There is a Chinese restaurant and coffee shop opposite. Everything is flat so its great for walking and so close to the ocean.

Beautiful Villa in the Fort

Gorgeous villa in the Fort with a swimming pool. We felt like we were staying in the owners home and had it all to ourselves. All the spaces were sensational. Breakfast was served in the outside cabana and was very good. Good coffee.

Second visit

The hotel is right in the middle of The Fort. The swimming pool is very clean. The staff are very attentive. The room was very clean, as was the linen.

Breakfast is very repetitive. The mattress protector didn't fit the bed, which made the sheet ruck. Uncomfortable nights sleep.
