Great option in Rome

Breakfast was very good, the room was big enough and had everything , although we had to ask for sleepers

The location is a bit far from all sites but it is a nice and safe area

Great location - its walkable 30mins to Vatican. Room was clean - breakfast was good. Also - its very central and comes with free parking - very rare in Rome.

Very good

Relaxing and leisurely poolside experience with all of the highlights of Rome nearby.

Beautiful mid-century hotel with a cool 1970's /late mid-Century vibe. The staff were very courteous and really helpful and were kind about speaking in English to us as we had little experience speaking in Italian. They also helped with planning activities and booking taxi transfers. The facilities were good and the pool though unshaded was fabulous. There was some lovely seating in the foyer, club-style tables and seating in the bar area, and a lovely patio beyond the restaurant. It was quiet during the day and didn't seem hectic so felt relaxing and very much what you want on a holiday. The drinks were good and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was lovely and spacious as were the rooms. The rooms were well set up though weirdly if you want to iron clothes you need to go to a common room to do so. The hotel is set on a hill side so the light was magnificent and the area was quiet and somewhat cut off though if you walked 20-30 south and to the east, you were in Trastevere and a short cab ride to everything.

We stayed on two different occasions during our trip. Both times there were issues with the room. The first room's window was broken on the hinge and would not open properly and the shower leaked so that the floor was flooding and we had to use a lot of towels to clean it up. There was a hole in the ceiling from water damage and a lot of dampness and mold around the shower wall seals. When I told the staff they said they said that they would look into it. I expect that with us staying for short stays it wasn't a priority. The second time we stayed there was a large event in the dining room. This room was lovely but it was at the back of the hotel overlooking the trash and recycling bins and the view was grubby. Worse it was above a function room where there was a large event taking place and it was not soundproofed. We were getting up at 3:30 am for an early flight and we slept for the last hour as the noise coming from the event's music and dancing was incessant. People had a great time though! On the last night, we wanted to eat off the restaurant menu but they only served bar food because they had an event in the restaurant and function room. I thought it would have been easy to accommodate some dishes off the menu but there was no flexibility. The bar food was not what you expect in Italy and I wished the hotel had explained the event restrictions and we would have gone down the hill for dinner. Not a major issue but communicating that would have helped.

Staff are lovely and were happy to please. Hotel was a 20 minute walk to Vatican. Public transport is available althoug

Staff were helpful, and generally spoke good English. Room was lovely and the bed was comfy and big. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

Corridors had stained carpet and there were few staff on desk.this meant no calls to front desk were answered and took 30 mins to order a taxi. I had to walk to front desk and there were 3 people checking in.
