Musafir Hostel Udaipur

The original room they gave us was horrible - no window or natural light and no bathroom ventilation - for more than 1500rp per night!! Because of this the room smelled badly of damp. We were very tired after a long bus from Mumbai so we stayed the first night, but after complaining we were "upgraded" to a room with a window/ventilation. The score mostly reflects the first room - you should have given us the "upgrade" in the first place, especially because I had stayed with you previously as I mentioned in my message. The TV advertised in both rooms was incredibly small and far from the bed - we didn't bother checking if it worked because it was easier to just use our phones. It's also a 10 minute walk into town, which isn't so far but the reality is this place is SO OVERPRICED - you can find much nicer double rooms for half and even a third of the price directly in the main part of town. I really wish I hadn't booked and paid for 4 nights upfront because we would have left immediately. I also don't appreciate being emailed nearly every day asking to leave a review. Save your money and go elsewhere.
