Wonderful welcome by Sunday at the valet. Excellent rooms for family. Superb facilities and amazing staff. Great food at Bahari grill.

Disappointing

This was the 4th and last time I will stay at this property, they are on a downward spiral.

Meals were good, staff in F&B friendly and efficient.

The front office is a disaster, I have stayed at this property on numerous occasions and every time experienced check-in times of 30-45 minutes. I asked please for this not to happen again on this trip, sent emirates ID's passports etc. They even called me on my way to the hotel to tell me they had all the details and that check-in would be more efficient than previous visits. None of that was true, I arrived to once again sit through a 40 minute check-in. This is consistently the worst hotel check-in I have experienced anywhere in the world and I travel internationally at least 20 times a year! This is certainly below par for UAE. To add insult to injury they make you feel like a criminal when you depart and scrutinize the room to ensure you aren't a thief, this they say is hotel standard practice but they must be referring to hotels at a vastly different level as I have never experienced anything like this.

Great weather, ocean, pool facility for kids

Had small roaches in the room - killed 2 during 3 night stay. There is limited dining options since the resort is not in a city but on the outskirts - they have 2 restaurants in the hotel of Miramar - you better check the bill before paying - i had waiter revisiting bill for overcharge in Cucina restaurant. Ah yes and be ready to pay 25$ for a pizza - prices for dining bite there. Bathroom is rather aged. Apparently i was also told to have stolen/misplaced/broken soap plate and bathrobe...so i paid for it since they did not find it in the room.

the ocean view room was great!

The dinner buffet was not good. Food seemed good to be of a sub standard quality and there were far too many people crammed into the serving area.

Not worth the price.

Breakfast is okay but not very wow unlike other resorts that have wide variety of choices. Room was good and big. We did not avail the dinner buffet as it is way so expensive 165 each. I asked if there is a discount for senior (60yo) as other hotels are giving consideration as elderly cannot eat a lot of food but they said NOOOO. So we ate dinner at La Cucina.

Reception staffs are strict and not friendly.
