Pleasant and clean. Great location. Expensive for how old the rooms are but I guess that is what it is over the achrosym

Location was perfect for what we needed.

Property is quite old and tired and bathroom had mould.

Problems alluding to communication, resolution, pricing, cleanliness, and customer experience.

The first night phone did not work. The second night was given a pass to the room, towels all over the place, and the bed clearly not changed. Went back... second time, same thing again..... room not clean, a mess. Receptionist / potential assistant manager/ manager was unable to rectify issues on the spot, offered "free parking" ( which I already had ) wasn't able to offer reimbursements due to "everything being on the app" Offered buffet, which was immediately rejected as this would not be suitable due to the time frame of checkout in the morning. Requested some drinks as a reasonable halfway point. This was rejected as "drinks couldn't be offered for free", althought a bottle of bubbles was left in my fridge on the first night for New years Eve. Inability to use the phone in the room as well as calling the landline number and being hung up on after selecting "1" to speak to reception. Requested a slightly later check out, which was denied and rejected at reception by receptionist/ manager/ assistant manager. A note was left under the door, which was picked up as we were leaving at the prescribed checkout time and not seen prior. This is not how communications should have been completed. A simple yes or no/ knock on the door to confirm extension would have been appreciated to better suit our situation as customers. Stains seen on laundry/ curtains/ carpets/ couch

Very good

Much better than my last stay when it was a Travel lodge property. Cleaner, smarter, fresher. Special mention to Scott Bear (duty manager). Exceptional service.

Breakfast was expensive and pretty ordinary.

Convenient location

Room service food was average. In the morning the laundry and cleaning trolleys filled/blocked the corridors as guest were going to breakfast or leaving Self service check in which wasnt straight forward and need help with defeating the purpose

We will use the hotel again. Club across the road also much improved.

We had stayed recently and were disappointed as the staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. A vast improvement this time. Property has had a makeover and the staff were delightful.
