Gorgeous historic building and calm atmosphere in the midst of the bustling city

Staff was super friendly and accommodating from front desk to housekeeping to dining room and security guard out front was a joy to see everyday with his salute and big smile. Breakfast was delicious with made to order omelettes and a big selection, good coffee. Desk kept luggage store when needed. Room was clean, comfortable, shower warm, bed comfortable. It was a beautiful building with history. Safe, secure, off the main road. Nice outdoor, lit courtyard to sit and relax and outdoor terrace on 2nd floor.

Area was a little out of the way, at night it was a little walk to get to shops, restaurants. Price was high for my budget and amenities similar to other places stayed in the city. I was there for a meeting and worked well to stay with group those days and served our needs though.

The staff at Maya Manor were excellent! The rooms were very comfortable and the food was great! The location is ideal as it is close to most of the tourist attractions and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel! Thanks to everyone at Maya Manor for an amazing stay!

Great location within walking distance or a cheap taxi ride to Thamel, but set back from the road so the courtyard/garden area is quiet and relaxing. Excellent, friendly service from the staff, particularly Kishore the manager at the front desk, and Poornima, the manager for the dining area.

I hope to stay at Maya again when I am in Kathmandu.

I have stayed twice at the Maya Manor which stands out for the high quality of decor and facilities in the public areas and the high standard of the bedrooms. The personal service from the friendly staff is top shelf -at the front desk and guest services particularly with Nabina who arranged flights and assisted with my travel plans and Purnima and her team in the restaurant with best quality food and service.

Making pay for the coffee when breakfast included in a first for us, and something we really didn't appreciate. And it's was not really a good coffee.

Service need to improve more.

Location and airport pick was top of the rate.

Staff and service. Arrived at 10pm, restaurant was closed so had to order online. When we ask for serving plate, staff refused to bring so had to walk down and get the plate from reception.
