Superb

Really nice place for family or couples in the center of Boston

The Vacation Club was superbly located with a lovely room with all the small amenities one needs for a short stay in Boston. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever needed. Everything was clean and in good condition. I can only recommend!

Beautiful Downtown Boston

Beautiful, historic property in downtown Boston close to North End and Freedom Trail. 360 degree observation balcony was amazing! Super attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Great Irish Pub across the street with the best Guinness weve had since our visit to Dublin.

Enjoyed my stay

The building was beautiful. The room was comfortable.

The continental breakfast was poor and to charge for it was ridiculous. All other hotels I stayed it was free and a better quality .

Great location. Comfortable beds. Beautiful historic building. Observation deck was awesome!!

Location was great. Walked to what we wanted to do. The room was beautiful and so was the building. Loved the game room in the clock tower. And the view from clock tower was incredible!! We went up there every night we stayed! Beds very comfortable.

No direct route from elevator. Have to drag suitcases up a few down a few stairs then go around rotunda and up a few stairs. Other than that: room was great!

I would stay again, but its expensive for little facilities in the hotel.

The location and the staff where professional and friendly. Suite was brilliant.

Ambience was missing. The bar spilled out onto the breakfast room which had no ambience, felt so clinical. Really needs a better bar.

Disappointing

Room without a view

Perfect location close to the ocean, the old town and the financial district. Quiet hotel with no noise from the street or elevators. Freely accessible observation gallery on the top floor.

The staff did not comply with our request for a high floor and instead placed us on the lowest floor. There was no view from our room. Without the view, the room was overpriced and did not have the expected value. The photos on Booking.com are only from the upper floors and are therefore misleading.

Superb

Comfortable, quiet, and clean.

The room was great. We were on the 8th floor, and it felt like we were alone on it. The staff was friendly and the hotel was well situated, in walking distance from attractions like the aquarium, the old state house, Faneuil & the Quincy market. A big plus with small children!

The amenities are pretty underwhelming compared to other hotels at this price range I've been to, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. (little breakfast options, no pool, tiny gym, etc.)
