Beautiful but needs work on staff

Beautiful rooms and very comfortable Beach was close if a little hard to get to What food we had was lovely Breakfast amazing Pool bar staff very helpful

Location - nothing nearby Staff - friendly but no idea what they were doing Only one restaurant/pub With limited choices Stuck there at night as everything shuts at 8 ! Room service was hot and miss - no water , no cups , no tea etc etc

Absolutely nothing!!

Room had bugs and mosquitoes. Beds were uncomfortable. Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The check-in process dragged on for an agonizing 2-3 hours, setting the tone for the entire debacle. The promised scooter arrived a whopping 40 minutes late, leaving us stranded when we were assured it would take only 10 minutes. To add insult to injury, the room had a non-functional toilet, a shower with no hot water and a malfunctioning shower head. The TV was out of order, and the dim lighting in the room was insufficient for any practical use. Despite the staff's repeated assurances, nothing was resolved until an ungodly hour, around 11-11:30pm. Our desperate attempt to salvage the evening by staying out till 9pm yielded no improvement. It was a costly endeavor for an uncomfortable night in an impractical environment. This so-called 5-star hotel fell drastically short of expectations, and I strongly discourage anyone from subjecting themselves to such a dreadful experience. Save yourself the trouble and head to Elephant Beach Resort for a genuinely positive stay. Trust me, Google reviews hold more weight than those on booking.com

The resort itself is beautiful Rooms are comfortable

Middle of no where Nothing around Staff are friendly but not entirely sure of what they are doing. Nothing in rooms to tell you who to call ? When breakfast is ? Do they do room service ? Poor organisation which is a shame.

Beautiful facilities but extremely disappointing staff/amenities

The aesthetic of the hotel & the actual building was beautiful.an extremely picturesque setting.

The staff were disorganised & not particularly helpful. Reception didnt answer the phone at any given time, the breakfast was chaotic with no plates, glasses or cutlery. In the room we had small ants everywhere, we were given no towels to shower with & the ashtrays outside the room were filled with dirty ashes. For the price of the hotel we expected a higher standard. The staff were unhelpful when these problems arose & didnt want to know about it. Very disappointing!

Very good

Had a fantastic time and would recommend this place to stay for a relaxing time.

Awesome breakfast, relaxing time in the pool, tranquil mornings and really friendly staff. Great massage service, patient restaurant staff and lovely food. Great just to walk along beach and explore other places to eat too. Good facilities and activities and getting taxis or bikes was very easy too.

Maybe nets over bed? - Bed(s) very comfortable but I had two singles as a double with sheets for a single beds. Not easy to shut room door so made it loud slam - door handle needs looking at - not just my room. Being fussy some of the outside building looking a bit tired but that's a minor point.

This is a definite return stay for me

The location and style. It was quiet. The pool was clean.all around the property is clean.

Some staff tried to be tricky but not doing what they were supposed to other than that all were accommodating. Lovely and beautiful people.

Koh Samui is an amazing island, with loads to offer.

We did not initially get the room we paid for. We paid for a poolside suite so you can swim straight from the room to the swimup bar. Instead we were put in pondside room. Where the algae covered secondary pool was unswimmable and not connected to the main pool and bar. We had the aircon break one of the nights and told the staff first thing in the morning. Upon returning to the accomo at 8pm nothing had been fixed and had to complain again before anyone came to do anything. Then the cherry on top, was that we had some diabetic medication (trulicity) stolen straight out of the fridge in our room. After bringing it up to the staff I got a series of shrugs and excuses. Was told I'd have to talk to the manager. After two days of bringing this up with the staff at the lobby they finally got a manager to speak to me. And he basically said "yeah, so what" his level of apathy was outrageous. So I continued to complain saying that one it is expensive medication but two it is to ensure that her levels stay were they are supposed to and so she doesn't have a medical emergency. They didn't seem to care. They eventually offered up a ride to the airport to compensate, which was laughable as compensation. In the end I got the feeling they were pushing off my complaints by saying they had to contact X who would have to contact Y, just waiting for us to leave. Absolutely terrible service. And for the price point, was utterly disappointed. Definitely do not stay here, far more reasonably priced better accommodation around the island.
