Best place in Ranthambore!

Our stay here was just absolutely fantastic. The staff- they left us wanting for nothing else. They anticipated everything we needed and went above and beyond. They helped us book our return train tickets and even sourced out some local souvenirs for us. Each meal was freshly prepped, and we had amazing meals each time. During dinner, they even put on a Ranthambore tiger documentary for us, which we really enjoyed! We booked our safari tickets through the property and everything went without a hitch. Madho Bagh arranged our transportation and made sure we got where we needed to be on time, each time. The property itself was amazing, well manicured lawn, great scenery. Our tent was very clean and had luxurious amenities so it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. We chose this place to unwind far away from the hustle and bustle of a city and we got exactly that. We felt completely recharged after being immersed in nature here. There were also fauna all around! They have an adorable well behaved dog named Simba which you can play with (the owner is very considerate and will ask first if you are okay with dogs, or else Simba will be kept away). We adored him, theres also a pair of very cute owls that hang about the property, and plenty of birds. If we come back, well definitely stay here again :)

Nothing at all! It was all great. Some may say the property is located a little further in, but that wasnt a problem for us at all as the staff arranged transportation in and out for us each time. And we liked the serenity that came from the location. There are sometimes trains that run through the night, but we didnt hear it much after the first two times. And you can pretty much hear those trains all over the city too.

Amazing stay in a wonderful place

Service was super friendly! Stay was so calming and the pool was amazing. Also the tents and overall appearance were really nice. They were also able to arrange an extra last-minute safari in a beautiful zone for us which was super kind.

The area is very focused on the safari trips so there are a lot of different parties that offer it. Try to do it through Madho Bagh so you know you are not being hassled.

Wonderful stay close to Ranthambore NP.

A wonderful stay, very friendly & warm people. They do everything to make it to your liking. Delicious food, nice hygienic tented rooms and a peaceful garden. Highly recommended if you come to Ranthambore NP - they also do everything possible so you can visit the best zones in the park.

Beautifully decorated tents in a lovely garden with a fountain. We were the only guests there so the staff could give us their full attention - they were all incredibly helpful and wanted to make sure we were happy.

Located quite far from most other accommodations and accessed only by a single rough track - difficult for our driver to find and most safari tour companies wouldnt come and pick us up. Staff were lovely but a little overbearing given we were the only guests. Food was nice but restaurant could be given a face lift and made a little atmospheric. Card machine didnt work for international cards so we had to drive to nearest ATM in town.

Too expensive for what you get

I have pretty mixed feelings about this place. I truly believe the people here try their best to ensure you have a good stay, but everything was a bit off... The communication with the staff was difficult and they always had to call the owner to discuss. We spoke to the owner via whatsapp and phone, which was always very confusing and felt pushy. But when meeting him shortly in real life, he seemed like a nice guy. The accommodation is ok and there is a swimming pool, although I expected things to be nicer. We've stayed at better places in Rajasthan for less than a third of the price (but without a swimming pool and not in Sawai Madhopur). The food we had was not that good and pretty expensive for what you get. Veg fried rice did not have any vegetables in it, it was just plain fried rice. We had a discussion about whether breakfast was included, although it was clearly stated on Booking. After 2 discussions and a few calls, it was removed from our bill. The hotel is located quite far from a hard road. So get ready for a bumpy ride! It also seems one of the furthest hotels which meant we were always picked up firt and dropped off last for the safaris. On the good side: people were very willing to help, the owner arranged jeeps to pick us up at the hotel for a small fee (we bought online tickets via the government website beforehand), the owner's dad arranged a documentary about the tigers in Ranthambore for us during dinner, it's pretty quiet (heard trains during the day, but slept like a baby)

Madho bagh is a property of 8 luxury tents with very helpful owner & all the staff...ashwini Ji not only gave us safari booking in peak season when it seemed impossible but also gave us great company with a flavour of rajasthani folk songs...in all it was a joyous trip for me & my family...3 cheers!!!
