Everything was lovely, I think the plastic glasses they use around the pool might be due for a new batch as some of them were cracked/chipped.

A Blissful Retreat at Le Meridien Al Aqah

My weekend at Le Meridien Al Aqah was a sheer delight. The room's terrace offered an incredible view of mountains, ocean, and the pool. The room itself was a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, and dining with an ocean view was a culinary treat. This hotel is a gem for a luxurious getaway. Highly recommended for a magical and rejuvenating experience.

Nail Salon was horrible, they are totally over priced, not professional, do not have a price list for the services that I requested! which was nail polish! A man was sitting there while having his hair cut was talking to me ( may be he was the supervisor for the location ) and I did not even feel comfortable there.

View from room, size of rooms, beach. Beach & kids facilities are excellent.

Hotel overall standard is not up to the mark as we anticipated by looking at pictures online & by the look of building from outside. Doesnt match 5* standard at all. It should be called 3* standard. Corridor & room carpets are extremely old, out of shape & smelly ! Room & bathroom interior is very old styled & outdated. Bathroom fittings & soap bottles are old fashioned & not easy to use at all. Hot & cold water tap is very difficult to turn on & off. Overall its an extremely old hotel from inside (more than 22 years old) which spoiled our trip & stay. Not happy

Spacious room and comfy bed

The pool bar serves alcohol on the pool and people put the glasses right beside the water, which makes it possible to mix with the pool water! This is very unpleasant for Muslim people. First floor rooms are not good.

The stay was very pleasant and I will return in future

The facilities in general is excellent, breakfast was great with a wide variety of foods available The pool is well maintained and clean. The staff around the pool was very helpful, looking after the guests safety. The water temperature in the sea and pool was very acceptable

The background music, I like the music but it was repeating so much it became irritating. The music should not be repeated more than twice a day
