A wonderful welcome and stay in this very beautiful resort.We were welcomed from Gloria wich helped us trough out the entire stay. We cruised at sunset for free with a big boat and around 20 people but the treat was the next morning with a motor canoa that took us around the small canals and the lake with the amazing colors of the early morning. Gym was great as well as the nice instructor. Dinner in the fish restaurant was very romantic.Food not amazing as well the bloody Mary but i would rather choose this one instead of the more crowded one. Breakfast was really good with many many choices. We were not much lucky with the room since it had two windows behind the bed and could hear a lot of chit chat until late.Attention to details in the room was very nice.From tea tray to peanuts from bathroom set to that touch of elgance that sometimes make the difference. Ive tried an Ayurvedic massage that was a bit expensive.i did not love it but that is me.The therapist though were very good and professional. Jacuzzi was amazing. Would i come again?not sure.What i was missing was a room with a view of the lake.Not easy to find,i know,but this is my next goal for my trip in Kumarakom. Overall a very good place to stay so 5 stars for sure.

Well I did not like the resort charging me to my credit card the whole amount of my stay 8 days in advance of my stay.. We have travelled all around typically all five star resort put a hold on the credit credit for a certain amount which they tell us up front on arrival but this resort charged my credit card in fact I was planning on paying using a local currency card and account I have but I did not have that opportunity to do that .. That is absolutely not right if the resort to do and a big no no.. please Beware of this practice by this resort

It is a very nice property. Well maintained, green, on the lake but no boat traffic to disturb the peace of the place, just the hotel boat. Nice facility, pottery, bike, fishing. Nice room. Some have a private pool some a big jacuzzi in the room. The massage is fantastic- a must to try.

I felt like I walked into an magical Instagram post!

The view from villa 144 was breathtaking and having a pools to swim in right outside my door was like a fairytale. The staff were beyond exceptional from the housekeeping staff to Gloria at the front desk and Mr. Sanjay Varma, manager extraordinaire. These people really know how to treat guests. I am still dreaming about that food and that outdoor shower was Instagram worthy.
